Resting by the wall near a jacuzzi, PETER is massaging his fingers.
PETER (V.O.): While waiting for instructions, I've played the piano for awhile today.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's been a long day. I deserve some relaxation.
Peter sees a MOTHER helping her KID to float on the water.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I used to do that when my children were kids.
Then we see the kid blowing a kiss to Peter. His mother looks surprised.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Am I appealing? Is he just playful?
Touching his lips lightly, Peter returns a blowing kiss to the kid.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Timeliness is the best policy.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. OFFICE - 10:30 (Earlier today)
Peter is reading a thick file.
PETER (V.O.): Although I only get the file today, I've to seek the other side's agreement to file something, preferably by tomorrow.
Reading.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've the can-do attitude. There's always a way to accomplish the objective.
INT. STUDY/STUDIO - 16:30
Smartphone in hand, Peter is preparing a draft on screen.
PETER (V.O.): I think I'd be able to come up with a draft for the other side's consideration later today.
Peter then engages in some telephone conversations.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Before sending the draft to the other side, I should clarify a few things from those instructing me.
Peter then engages in another telephone conversation.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While waiting for a detailed reply, let me play the piano.
We see and hear Peter playing the piano not very well.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm still thinking about the particulars of the case.
Tapping an iPad Mini at the music score stand, Peter watches an online piano tutorial.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'd better learn the basics.
We hear the tutor talking about "Speed".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Speedy responsiveness in the right way is one key to success.
Having followed the tuition for awhile, Peter checks the time.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, two hours have lapsed and I still haven't got her reply yet.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To facilitate her, let me give additional pointers.
We see Peter taking some photos and then inserting them in a WhatsApp message.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): She should get the cue that I've been waiting for her reply.
Later, Peter sees a reply in WhatsApp: I'll come back to you tomorrow.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG, this is truly upsetting.
Pausing
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's like blowing me a kiss tomorrow when I want it now.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I understand why I only get the file today. Someone wanted to tidy a few things for me beforehand.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I don't see any output, not to mention outcome.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I've to honour my commitment.
Checking a file on screen again, Peter shares it with somebody.
END FLASHBACK
Act 3
EXT. SWIMMING POOL - CONTINUOUS
Peter does a few butterfly strokes.
PETER (V.O.): The blown kisses have made my day.
We hear the mother talking to her kid: Uncle is full of strength...
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Out of the blue, I think of someone. Has someone's blown kisses finally caught up with me?
Peter looks up to the sky.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love blown kisses that enter my soul.
