Peter checks the junk mail box.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, my complementary pass is hiding here.
Peter clicks the programme icon.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Not that user-friendly...Oh, the forum actually begins at 10:00am.

Expo Hall. Peter and FRIENDS are sitting among around 1500 AUDIENCE. Some take photos of them. They take selfies. The opening ceremony then begins.

PETER (V.O.): That was the last time I attended BIP Asia Forum in person.
Checking his incoming emails, Peter sees "BIP 2021 - LIVE NOW!"
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's a really friendly reminder.
Opening it, Peter sees "Click HERE for your unique login".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's welcoming!
Peter sees and hears a LADY making opening remarks.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): She asked me about the concept of IP trading when she was about to take the lead.
Other DIGNITARIES then speaks online.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Before 2011, the forum was quite small.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Those passionate on designs saw the significance of IP and wished to have an IP forum in the Business of Design Week (BODW).
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): The Hong Kong Design Centre has been running a successful programme on design in the 1st week of December annually.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To drum up support, I was asked to become a member of a preparatory committee.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): During one brain-storming session, we cooked up the name as Business of Intellectual Property (BIP) Forum.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Through our international network, we invited distinguished speakers to talk about emerging IP issues and trends.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While the quality of the speakers were outstanding, the audience weren't, as the takeaway messages couldn't make money quick.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I became Director of Intellectual Property in 2011, I championed, nearly single-handedly, the concept of international IP Trading, using Hong Kong, China, as the hub.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And then, personnel from the current organizer approached us, suggesting collaboration and inserting trade-sexy word "Asia" to the forum name.

Expo Hall. Peter is speaking on stage.
PETER: I'd like to end my opening remarks with the chorus of my song: Invent the Future.

PETER (Cont'd): Thank you!

Peter's iPad Mini is still on. We hear oldies from a bluetooth speaker and see moving images on TV. Peter is decluttering.
PETER (V.O.): The online forum should have good connectivity. It also enables multi-tasking.
Peter then reads a CASH DIVIDEND PAYMENT ADVICE.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Well, the amount credited isn't small. I should invest more in this stock.
Grabbing his smartphone, Peter quickly clicks and types on the screen. Soon, we hear Ding!
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Done! That is how I anticipate IP Trading would be in future!
