INT. BEDROOM - 07:00
PETER hesitates to wake up.
PETER (V.O.): I had a colourful dream - shades of purple and red...
INT. STUDY - 10:00
Having enquired via the phone, Peter fills in some figures in a tax return and then puts it inside a green envelope.
PETER (V.O.): The tax lady was kind in explaining the difference between "gross income" and "turnover". I'm not in the red.
Later, Peter opens two brown envelopes and reads the black-and-white papers inside.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I now know the background story of the asylum seeker.
Looking out of the window, Peter sees the grey sky.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's raining. But I'm going out to do other tasks.
Act 2
EXT. PARK - 13:15
Raining. Holding a purple-and-red umbrella and wearing a pair of white flipflops, Peter steps onto the water-logged ground.
PETER (V.O.): I'm wearing the right things today.
INT. POST OFFICE - 13: 20
Peter inserts a green letter into the green letter box.
PETER (V.O.): Done! One less thing to bother for the time being.
INT. MALL - 13:30
A crowded atrium, Peter is attracted by the display of an elephant sculpture.
PETER (V.O.): So colourful. Elephants symbolise strength, loyalty and good fortune,
Hearing ringtones, Peter takes out a smart phone and then engages in a lengthy conversation.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've got a surprise assignment next Tuesday morning.
Peter takes a look of his casual outfit.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If it was a video call, I'm not sure if I'd be instructed.
Peter captures images of public arts on display.
Later, Peter withdraws a few red notes from Bank#1's ATM.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Done! I've reactivated my bank accounts and I know I've sufficient funds for fixed auto pays for more than a year.
INT. PEPPER LUNCH RESTAURANT - 14:00
Sitting in a corner, Peter checks an incoming message.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, a stock buying order I made this morning has been executed. I'm using another bank's platform, taking advantage of the time-limited brokerage-free offer.
As a sizzling chicken rice lunch set is put on the table, Peter adds some brownish sauce onto it.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Time to reward myself.
INT/EXT/INT. BANK#2 - STREET - BANK#3 - 14:45.
Having withdrawn some golden notes from Bank#2's ATM, Peter walks across a street to Bank#3's counter to deposit the notes.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This bank is the one that has offered me the stock-trading privilege.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I've a cashflow problem. Let me see how I can stop the automatic renewal of my time deposit here.
Later, a STAFF is coaching Peter how to tap an App on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Good! My IT literacy has been enhanced.
Having filled in some of the blanks on screen, Peter looks a little shocked.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My stock buying order has been fully executed? Near- instantaneously?
INT. STUDY - 17:15
Having checked an incoming mail, Peter begins to work attentively on his laptop.
PETER (V.O.): Now is my real challenge of the day. See if I can recall how to export a Word document in the pdf format and sign it electronically.
Peter opens and closes files, checks the tool bar icons, clicks this and that...He also checks the wall clock from time to time.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I used to complete such IT tasks in minutes. After a lapse of several months, it has taken me over half an hour to get them done.
Opening his mail App, Peter inserts files to a mail and the re-checks the inserted files.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG, where has my electronic signature gone? Where is the signed file hiding?
Clicking the File Explorer icon, Peter begins his mining.
Act 3
EXT. SWIMMING POOL - 19:45
Facing the light blue pool floor, Peter glides on the water.
PETER (V.O.): The clear water is cool, I love it.
Changing to backstrokes, Peter sees the dark sky.
INT. BEDROOM - 23:30
Listening to oldies, Peter observes a compact CD player's purple speakers.
PETER (V.O.): Small but colourful details can make things and life beautiful.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What a colourful Friday!
