INT. BEDROOM - 08:00
Alarm's ringing. PETER gets out of bed.
PETER (V.O.): I've to support my client in a screening interview at 10.00.
Peter checks papers in a bag.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): After that, I'll go swimming at the Cafeteria Old Bay.
Peter packs casual clothing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And then, I'll have lunch with my Mum.
Peter takes out a suit.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And after that, I'll go back to my NT home.
Act 2
EXT. ROADS TO NT - 09:10
Busy. Peter's driving in the fast lane.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, I can't cut to the left...I've to drive along Kwai Chung road.
Later, we see a taxi on Peter's left suddenly driving into Peter's lane.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG!
We see Peter driving past the taxi without collision.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A near miss! I've no time to sound the horn...
Peter looks relieved.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If there's a collision, I'll be prevented from discharging my professional duties on time.

Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): So fortuitous!
EXT. CAFETERIA OLD BAY - 09:30
Public car park. The sun is shining bright. Having parked his car, Peter rushes to the Castle Peak Bay Immigration Centre (CIC).
PETER (V.O.): I meant to arrive here five minutes earlier.
INT. CIC RECEPTION - 09:35
Presenting a legal visit letter to an OFFICER, Peter reaches his pockets.
PETER: Oh, I've left my identity card in my car...
Later at an interview room. We see a woman INTERPRETER passing a tissue to Peter.
INTERPRETER: You've sweat on your forehead.
PETER: Is that right? I was here earlier and then I rushed back to the car park to get my identify card...You're so kind!
Then, Peter's CLIENT appears.
EXT. CAFETERIA OLD BAY - 10:45
Carrying a pair of black leather shoes and barefooted, Peter walks on the beach.
PETER (V.O.): I forgot to bring my sandals...
Observing the environment.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here was my paradise when I was a young boy...
INT. RESTAURANT, HUNG SHUI KIU - 12:00
We see Peter, his MUM and his SISTER having dim sum.
PETER (to Sister): I don't know you're having lunch with Mum today.
SISTER: I don't know Mum has a lunch appointment with you either.
PETER (V.O.): I love fortuitous circumstances.
EXT. CAR PARK - 15.00
Driving his sister, Peter pays the parking fee by waving an Octopus card at the gate reader.
PETER: I've parked the car here for three hours and one minute.
SISTER: We should have left a bit earlier.
PETER (V.O): I'm quite lucky today.
EXT. PETER'S NT HOME - 16:00
Sitting on a bench in the front garden with a portable radio by his side, Peter listens to a finance channel.
PETER (V.O.): Today, I've lost 4% less in my stock investment.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 23:00
Tapping an AI drawing App in his smartphone, Peter inputs "a man at a beach".
PETER (V.O.): I don't think the machine can envisage the circumstances I was in at the beach on this fortuitous Tuesday.
Soon, we see a cubist image appearing on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I take the black stuff aren't fins but my black leather shoes....
Smiling, Peter downloads the image.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Fortuitous circumstances constitute a greater part of human lives, from existence to happening. I look forward to what the future holds.
