Act 1
INT. SITTING ROOM - 09:30
PETER picks up car keys from a box.
PETER (V.O.): I'm taking my Silvia 13 to a car-testing center.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): If it gets a clean bill, I'll store it in my NT home and drive another one back to the city.
Peter looks out of the window.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The day looks fine. I should go swimming at Golden Beach too.
Peter puts his swimming gear into a red bag.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): See if I can make today a fruitful day
With keys in hand, Peter carries his bag and exits.
Act 2
INT. CAR TESTING CENTER - 10:00
Waiting room. While consuming a soft drink, Peter reads a car magazine.
PETER (V.O.): I used to buy car magazines, dreaming what cars to buy.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I bought my Silvia 13 in 1989 to celebrate my promotion to Senior Crown Counsel in the Attorney General's Chambers. .
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And after 33 years, I'm still in love with my Silvia 13.
Later, a MECHANIC passes Peter a certificate.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Great! Spending good money to maintain it, I've added another year to my Silvia's life!
EXT. TUEN MUN HIGHWAY - 11.30
Looking through the windshield of the road ahead, Peter is driving swiftly.
PETER (V.O.): My Silvia 13 has reborn.
EXT. GOLDEN BEACH - 12:00
Checking a phone message, Peter also sees an image.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, my gardener reports that some tiles of the gate pillar of my NT home have fallen off.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They're over 20 years old and have stood the rain and sunshine. Anyway, I'm on my way home.
Towing a safety cyber-green safety buoy, Peter swims to the outer limits of the swimming area.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can't direct the wind and waves, but I can adjust my pace and swimming style.
Seeing Peter approaching his rescue rowboat, the lifeguard gives way.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I really appreciate his reaching out, and those in lifeguard towers at the shore.
INT. LAKESIDE RESTAURANT - 13:45
Watching lakeside activities, Peter eats seafood rice in soup and drinks a mango soda.
PETER (V.O.): I need to re-energize myself after a non-stop 45-minute swim.
INT. PETER'S NT HOME - 14:30
Storeroom. Peter is searching.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, I forgot I had used up all the cement last time. I want to refix the fallen tiles without delay.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've just retuned from the mall. Should I drive there again? Or should I walk there? I haven't done that for decades.
Peter sees six bicycles nearby.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They haven't been used for over 10 years. The tires are all flat. And one can't stand by itself.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me take the most problematic one to the repairer at the mall to fix it.
EXT. LAKESIDE WALK - 15:30
Allowing a green cycle to stand by itself, Peter takes a photo of it.
PETER (V.O.): I'm going to ride it home - my first cycling since I turn 68. Cycling was my passion when I was around 8-year old.
EXT. PETER'S NT HOME - 17:00
Gate pillar. Fallen and broken tiles on the ground. Wet cement in a plastic bag.
PETER (V.O.): My masonry craft isn't good. Let me treat the job as a performing art.
Using his bare hands, Peter performs his art.
Act 3
INT. SITTING ROOM - 23:00
PETER (V.O.): Today, I've done lots of things worth doing.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Be productive, I can make my life fruitful.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Meanwhile, I get dividends from my investment in time.
