Act 1
EXT. GOLDEN BEACH - 13:30
Walking parallel to lifeguard tower 2, Peter sees the large digital temperature device near it displaying "38°"
PETER (V.O.) : Wow, so hot here.
Taking out his smart phone, Peter captures of a photo of the scene.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The sea water should be cool.
Coming out from a nearby changing room, Peter goes to the beach, blowing his cyber-green buoy at the same time.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can't wait to swim. I haven't come here for a fortnight.
Peter swims towards the outer left corner of the swimming area.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I meant to come every week. But I had court hearings last week.
Later, having arrived the beach's outer right corner, Peter swims back towards the beach spot where he put his belongings.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The exercise is so clear and distinct. I know I'm not dreaming.
Act 2
EXT. ESTATE MALL - 14:30
Open car park. Having parked his numeric blue SMART car, Peter captures a photo of it.
PETER (V.O.): As a resident, I've free parking for an hour The photo reminds me of the approximate entry time.
Peter checks the image on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The other reason is that it's a symbol of love - the car has been stored in my home's drive way for about three months.
Lakeside restaurant. Peter is finding an angle to take a shot of a porkchop croissant and a grape punch on the table.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let the photo remind me what I've before they disappear. It's a reward for having done an hour of non-stop swimming in the sea.
INT. PETER'S NT HOME - 15:45
Sitting room. Peter is checking some 2013 Christmas greeting cards.
PETER (V.O.): This is the last batch I got when I was still with the Government.
Peter checks the wall clock.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The stock market is about to close. Let me go outside to check my order status. The wifi reception at the front garden is better.
Front garden. As he is about to sit on a white bench, Peter sees a wrinkled paper case.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, it's the souvenir I bought in Venice back in 2014!
FLASHBACK
INT. STUDY - NIGHT (A FORTNIGHT AGO)
Checking his bags, Peter looks a little loss.
PETER (V.O.): I meant to bring back the souvenir I bought in Venice...
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was one of the last things I packed before leaving my NT home.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I forgot where did I put it. My last-in-first-out memory was at work again.
END FLASHBACK
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG, I just put it on the bench here.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): After depositing the garbage bag near the front gate, I forgot to return to pick it up and left without it.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And it has been exposed in the open for a fortnight. And typhoon signal no.8 was hoisted during the period.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In August 2014, my younger son and I had a European tour from London to Rome.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was my fourth time in Venice. But it was the first time when my younger son and I travelled together.
Hesitating, Peter is about to open the wrinkled paper case.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Can it endure the hardship?
As Peter opens the wrinkled paper case discreetly , we see an artwork on Venice by the sea.
'PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Only I can tell the difference.
Act 3
EXT. PETER'S NT HOME - CONTINUOUS
Peter examines the artwork.
PETER (V.O.): It reminds me of where, when, why and how I bought it.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Souvenirs of my past evidence that it wasn't all a dream. They
ble memory keeper.
Putting the artwork on the grass, Peter captures an image of it.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A photo is a souvenir of life.
