FADE IN
Act 1
EXT. STUDY - 12:30
Dressed in a dark green shirt and blue jeans with trouser braces, PETER goes out.
PETER (V.O.): It's weekend and the last time when my wife, our younger daughter and I, as inbound persons, have to do the compulsory PCR tests at a community centre.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My elder daughter is flying from Tokyo to Seoul now. She's leaving Japan for good, after a long wait of almost two years.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Our younger son will fly home tomorrow from Sydney. As Hong Kong's medical surveillance system will only relax coming Monday, he'll be like us.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): For his previous returns, he had to stay in quarantine hotels for 7 days.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's relatively good that he'll able to move around and drive if he likes.
Act 2
INT. STUDIO - 14:10
Checking a WhatsApp notification, Peter sees: Landed.
PETER (V.O.): Good! My elder daughter is now in Seoul.
Later, Peter sees images of her daughter and her boyfriend, and a road scene from a car passenger's perspective.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Lovely, they're on the way of a new beginning.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As she's safe and in good hands now, I can relax and go swimming at Silverstrand. Good health is what I need.
EXT. ESTATE STREET - 15:38
Walking. Focusing on his smart phone, Peter sees some messages.
PETER (V.O.): Those remarks are from my wife. She's doing her nail art now. It appears that she's too happy to see the images...
Later, Peter sees a palm-in-palm image in the family chat group.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's from my son. Oh, his girlfriend is wearing a diamond ring in her fourth finger.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's something that his maternal mother would like to see too. He has performed beyond our expectations.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is that suggestive to her sister in Seoul as well?
Peter gets inside an underground car park.
EXT. SILVERSTRAND BEACH - 16:46
Coming out of the changing room, Peter checks his phone and sees a clapping-hands gif on screen.
PETER (V.O.): That's from my younger daughter. Girls are sensitive.
And soon, a "Very nice" remark on screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's from my younger son.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The day will come to all.
After sending his congratulations via his avatar, Peter touches his chest.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While I was swimming, a larger-than-palm-size fish attacked my chest a few times.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Before I discovered that I was panicking.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I came here yesterday, I heard and saw the beach's shark prevention nets were under maintenance.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I saw the shark prevention nets of the swimming area were being lifted up by a big boat.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I was fearful that a hungry shark might have sneaked in and was then trapped inside the swimming area.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My first such encounter.
Act 3
EXT. STUDY - 20:30
Checking his photos on screen, Peter focuses on one depicting the setting sun.
PETER (V.O.): I took it before entering the Silverstrand roundabout. Now, I take life day by day and am thankful for the little things in life.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My children and a fish have done something today that make me smile many times.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's a special Saturday of love, peace and happiness.
