Sitting in a sofa, PETER ends his language practice on the Duolingo app in his mobile.
PETER (V.O): Maintaining my Duolingo streaks has become my morning routine.
Peter then takes the piano seat to play the piano.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I wouldn't let my language learning intervene too much with my piano playing.
Something has dawned on Peter.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd):As a singer-song writer, I use the guitar to help me compose songs.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): As I'm not satisfied with the chorus of a song I'm writing, why don't I try the piano as an alternative choice?
Peter then plays some melodic verses.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): But the main agenda this Saturday is to take the family pet to have a photo session at SPCA.
Act 2
MONTAGE OF THE FAMILY PET'S PHOTO SESSION AT SPCA
A. Reception, 13.50. Peter and his WIFE walk in, the family pet, KAJI, trotting beside them.
B. Studio, 14:10. A PHOTOGRAPER guides all into positions and snaps several photos.
C. Counter 14:20. Checking images, Peter's wife selects one. Later, she makes a donation.
END MONTAGE
EXT. STREETS, WANCHAI - 14:30
Walking towards a car park, Kaji takes the lead.
PETER: So our baby's image will appear in SPCA's 2025 Calendar.
WIFE: Yes, this isn't the first time...Now, shall we go to other pet-friendly places like MegaBox or AIRSIDE?
PETER: But we went there recently.
WIFE: We haven't gone to the Peak for a long time...
PETER: Let's go up then, I hope parking isn't a problem.
EXT/INT. CAR PARK, PEAK GALLERIA - 14:45
As their car approaching, Peter's wife spots the number of real-time parking vacancies on a signboard.
WIFE: Fine, over 200 vacancies.
PETER: What a surprise on a Saturday afternoon.
Having parked their car with ease, Peter's wife spots another notice on the wall.
WIFE: If we buy something in the Galleria, we can get up to five hours free parking privileges.
PETER: Can we spend five hours here on a hot summer day?
WIFE: I must buy an iced drink to cool me down!
INT. PEAK GALLERIA - 15:30
Airconditioned modern mall. Iced drinks in hands, Peter and his wife explore the mall with Kaji.
PETER: Our pet is particularly energetic.
They stop before a store selling creative gadgets.
PETER (Cont'd): Oh, its DOMA, I like this brand a lot.
Soon, they're attracted by some colourful pocket slim fans.
WIFE: I need one for our vacation in France next month.
PETER: They look good. I'll have one too.
Having paid, Peter then discovers a pet's barber nearby.
WIFE: No, just props for pet photography!
Kaji has to take center stage, reluctantly.
EXT. LUGARD ROAD - 17:30
As they take the scenic route, Peter's wife is surprised to see a WhatsApp message.
WIFE: Our son is now touring Cairns with his girlfriend! He didn't tell me beforehand!
PETER: Don't forget that he's now a financially-independent doctor!
WIFE: Yes, we should appreciate Hong Kong more...
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - 21:30.
Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "A Vibrant Saturday..." to a draft.
PETER (V.O): This Saturday, I've a good sense of activity, energy and liveliness.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I enjoy having quality time with my loved ones anytime.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Having worked for decades, my wife and I are embracing an active, fulfilling and well-rounded lifestyle.
