Dressed in a three-piece suit and wearing a face mask, PETER walks pretty quickly.
PETER (V.O.): I need to join the BIP Asia Forum 2022 before 09:30.
INT. HK CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTRE - 09:20
Arriving at a hall entrance, Peter sees a BIP Asia signboard.
PETER (V.O.): I like the slogan: Creating new values, discovering new frontiers.
Next to a conference hall, Peter sees an Intellectual Property Dept (IPD) booth and then a smiling STAFF#1 approaching him.
LOIS: I'm Lois!
PETER: Yes, Lois!
They chat and chat until we hear: The honourable John Lee...
Act 2
INT. HALL 5FG - 09:30
MONTAGE OF THE OPENING SESSION
A. The Executive Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council speaks.
B. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region speaks.
C. The Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration speaks.
D. The Director-General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) speaks.

PETER (V.O.): Apart from WIPO's new DG, I've had prior contacts with all the others.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I first joined WIPO activities in Geneva in Feb 1992. My last visit was in Dec 2013. I belong to the older generation of international IP actors.
A Policy Dialogue then begins.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, WTO's IP Director, Tony, is one of the discussants.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Tony's predecessor and his team gave me support while I was working as a WTO-Dispute Settlement Panelist in two cases in Geneva 2004-2005.
Intermission. As Peter is walking past another conference hall, a smiling STAFF#2 rushes to engage Peter.
DAN: I'm Dan!
PETER: Oh yes! Dan!
After some very friendly chats, they take a selfie together.
PETER (V.O.): Before 2019, Dan used to invite me to give guest lectures. And I'd explain IP via live performances of my original songs!
Later, Peter continues to attend the Plenary Session.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's interesting to see Hong Kong entrepreneurs' digital-twins capability to help develop the metaverse or omniverse.
Later, in a cafeteria, TOBY playfully approaches Peter.
TOBY: Just then, I saw an artistic gentleman walking past and I reckoned he's you!
Peter smiles. And they take a selfie together.
TOBY (Cont'd): I'm going to join a lunch session on KOL...
PETER: I'm joining too. I'm quite a KOL on Quora - my way to help the world at large.
Later, in packed Rooms 226-227, Peter is led to join a table of GUESTS. After two presentations, ANITA, the moderator, asks guests to discuss with each other.
PETER (V.O.): Although I don't know the gentleman sitting on my left and the lady on my right, I'd assume the leadership.
As Peter begins to talk, the GENTLEMAN looks enlightened.
GENTLEMAN: Oh, you're IPD's Director! I recognize your voice...
PETER: And you're?
GENTLEMAN: I'm John.
LADY: I'm Ada.
They interact happily. When the session ends, Peter goes to say hello and goodbye to Anita. Turning his head afterwards, a lady GUEST catches Peter's attention.
PETER: Hi Rebecca!
REBECCA: Long time no see, Peter!
PETER (V.O.): She called me months ago...Of the few "BIP" initiators, I'm the only one who is still attending the Forum.
Act 3
EXT. ESTATE STREETS - 20:00
Peter walks leisurely towards a block.
PETER (V.O.): The consciousness of friendly loving and being loved brings a warmth and a richness to life that nothing else can bring.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Just then I've gone to Tom Lee Music to buy a Beatles harmonica to celebrate the great day.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): At the end of the day, I'm really happy with the beautiful things that make me, as me.
