Dressed in a black suit, PETER boards, focusing on the gap between the station platform and the train car.
PETER (V.O.): While taking trains in Osaka in the past few days, I observed the gaps weren't noticeable and that's user-friendly.
Standing, Peter checks small prints on his smartphone screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I need to familiarize myself more with the juvenile justice in Hong Kong.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I reconnected with Hong Kong yesterday, I was wondering what should I do next after the tour.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then, I got message that I had an urgent brief to appear in a juvenile court today.
Peter resumes his reading.
Act 2
INT. INTERVIEW ROOM, COURT HOUSE - 14:30
Peter is chatting with COLLEAGUES#1 and #2.
COLLEAGUE#1: The court is particularly busy today. Our cases may be called soon.
PETER: This is my first time representing the defendants in a juvenile court.
PETER (Cont'd): I've been in private practice for six years only, although I'm turning 70 soon.
COLLEAGUE#2: You look youthful for your age!
Colleague#1 nods.
PETER: Thank you both for the encouragement.
PETER (V.O.): Apart from not smoking and drinking, I believe my regular exercises and adequate sleep contribute to that.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't know if my sense of purpose has done wonder to my vibrant appearance.
Soon, a court STAFF comes to fetch the party to court.
EXT. STREET/MTR STATION - 17:00
We see a WOMAN and a MAN talking to Peter as they walk towards a MTR station.
PETER (V.O.): They've come up to talk to me after the case is over for the time being.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Although I haven't succeeded in the application after all, I believe they appreciate I've tried my best.
Talking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe they now have a relatively positive outlook.
Talking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ironically, what I believe brings me joy.
Parting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Okay, my day's job is done.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To make a 6-day tour with my wife to the Osaka and Wagayama areas, I declined a brief as I didn't want to neglect personal relationship.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But during our tour, we didn't have a healthy diet.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I was shocked to know that I had put on 3-4 kg in weight.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While having yakiniku in an indoor restaurant, the customers sitting next to us at a bar table smoke. We didn't like that.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There, my wife had her Tomato Beer and I ordered a Strawberry Sour, believing it to be a soft drink.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Soon, I felt the unpleasant alcohol flush reaction and stopped sipping it.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Later, I learned that Sours could be made with whisky, volka, gin, tequila, and brandy!
Act 3
EXT. MTR TRAIN - 17:15
Having input the prompt: "Bridging the Gap" in an AI art generator in his smartphone, Peter sees a cubist image appearing.
PETER (V.O.): The gap represents the disconnect that can exist when one aspect of life dominates the other.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's important to close that divide to achieve a healthier and more satisfying existence.
. Smiling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Sometimes, circumstances can be such that I can connect and integrate my personal life and work, creating a sense of harmony.
