EXT. BUS STOP - 6:45
Dusk time. Walking towards it, Peter sees two buses leaving.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, they've come and gone.
Pausing.
.PETER (V.O.): I didn't check the timetable. I'm prepared to take it as it comes.
Arriving, Peter sees an electronic display.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, Bus Stop No. 7.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Decades ago, I'd tell guests visiting us by estate bus to get off at Bus Stop No. 7.
Waiting, Peter is attracted by the nearby reflections on water surface.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I haven't seen them for a long time. I rarely take the estate bus.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. CAR REPAIRER - 11.00
MECHANICS#1 & 2 show Peter the replaced car parts.
MECHANIC#1: The pipes leaked due to fair, wear and tear.
Peter nods.
MECHANIC#1 (Cont'd): After several road testing, the tank is quite empty.
Checking the car's fuel gauge. Peter looks shocked to see the warning light is on.
PETER: Oh, I don't want to tow the car to the petrol station!
MECHANIC#1: Ok, Mechanic#2 will accompany you to the nearby petrol station.
EXT. PETROL STATION - 11:30
Arriving with MECHANIC#2 in the New Beetle, Peter looks pleased.
PETER: Without your support, I'd have been very nervous on the way here.
EXT. CAR REPAIRER - 12:00
Having got off the car, MECHANIC#2 helps direct the traffic for Peter to drive away.
MECHANIC#2: Stop...I've just seen that a brake lamp doesn't light up.
MECHANICS#1 and #2 work together to replace the defective light bulb.
PETER: Thank you so much!
PETER (V.O.): It's great that the car's problems are now all fixed!
PETER (Cont'd): I'll arrange to tow my SMART car here later today.
EXT. ESTATE STREET - 12:45
Peter is checking a contact list on his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.): Two years ago, I called a proprietor for car-towing service after midnight.
Peter makes a call.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're at the Airport and our Previa had a flat tire. The proprietor offered free tele-guidance so that I was able to replace the tire myself.
Peter speaks to the phone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now's the time for me to reciprocate.
PETER (To phone): Oh, you've ceased providing such ad hoc car-towing service!
PROPRIETOR (From phone): Thank you all the same!
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Having offered the proprietor's first option, I can now ask my repairer to facilitate.
SEQUENCE OF WHAT HAPPENS LATER
A. Estate street. 13:00. Peter calls and gets a return call.
B. Tuen Mun Highway. 13:45. Peter is driving his red coupe towards Yuen Long.
C. Peter's NT Home: 14:10. A PROPRIETOR pushes the SMART car as Peter steers the wheel.
D. Estate road. 14:20. Having paid, Peter sees his SMART being towed away.
E. Peter's NT Home: 18:00. Peter stores his silver coupe and red coupe before leaving.
END SEQUENCE
Act 3
EXT. BUS STOP- 19:00
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can always make new money but not fond memories.
Two other STRANGERS are waiting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And life is just a good collection of them.
They see a bus arriving.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Life is like a bus stop. Opportunities are like buses.
Following the strangers, Peter gets on board.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here comes the next opportunity.
