PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yesterday, while I was swimming at the Golden Beach, it rained. I returned to the beach immediately.
Peter takes a snapshot of a red container crossing the harbour.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't know what to expect as I haven't been to the bays before.
Pausing.
'PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm prepared to be somewhat adventurous.
Act 2
EXT. CHEUNG CHAU - 11:10
Pier. At a stand, Peter is checking a map of Cheung Chau.
PETER (V.O.): I can do some sightseeing before swimming.
Reading a route in red.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I just take one of the suggested sightseeing routes.
At a junction, Peter sees PEOPLE walking in different directions.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): No worry. Unlike Lantau, Cheung Chau is small.
Crisscrossing narrow alleys, Peter only sees residences.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's not good. I've to save my energy for swimming.
Later, Peter sees a sign: "Kwan Kung Pavilion".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Did I go there in Spring seven years ago to see Sakura blossoms?
Kwan Kung Pavilion. Peter arrives and sees a MAN worshiping. Peter focuses on the garden trees. We see four small trees with pink labels: "Chinese Sakura".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That was a very disappointing adventure. I took the next ferry home.
Using Google Maps to guide him, Peter soon sees a bay down the hill.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ah! That's the Kwun Yam Wan. It has a swimming area and a white floating platform. Good!
Kwun Yam Wan. Arriving, Peter sees an unmanned lifeguard tower, and then a sign: "lifeguard service has been suspended".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Why? No staff or no money?
Peter hears a COUPLE remarking: Being here is very comfortable.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I won't be satisfied if I can't conquer the floating platform.
Peter then sees four windsurfers practising outside the swimming area.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's good for windsurfing may not be good for swimming.
Calculating.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've my cyber-green buoy, And there's a couple on the beach.
Calculating.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I should be Okay.
Later, we see Peter braving the waves and reaching the white floating platform which is rocking and rolling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm so glad that I've done it!
Later, Peter walks towards Tung Wan. On a wall, we see a 5-ring device and "Atlanta 1996"
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is this the very bay where Hong Kong's first Summer Olympic Gold Medalist was trained?
Peter sees a windsurfer doing a windsurfing beach start.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Since then, Hong Kong hasn't got any Olympic medal on windsurfing.
Peter observes with great interest the unused colourful sails and boards on the beach.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Could I learn windsurfing?
Tung Wan. Three rocking-and-rolling floating platforms. Having swum from platform#1, Peter is climbing up onto platform#2.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To support myself and maintain my balance is already exhausting. There's no way I can do the windsurfing water start.
Beachside. We see LIFEGUARDS and CUSTOMERS at a bayside restaurant watching Peter, the only swimmer, swimming back from platform#3.
Act 3
EXT. CENTRAL PIERS - 16:10
Disembarking with other PASSENGERS, Peter sees some are carrying cargoes.
PETER (V.O.): I've too many things. Some of them have become eyesores.
Peter then turns his attention to Pier#7.
PETER (V.O.): Ongoing decluttering aside, I'm filling the rest of life with calculated adventures.
Seeing a white (Christian Dior) Star Ferry berthing, Peter looks excited.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I calculate the risks before making my calculated moves.
Soon, Peter boards the white Star Ferry.
