Act 1
INT. LIVING ROOM - 10:00
PETER steps through the door.
PETER (V.O): I've just gone to a closed public swimming pool. I didn't know its weekly cleansing was delayed because of X'mas.
Peter settles into a cosy corner.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I'll swim after consulting my doctor, but before joining my wife to visit the Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo at Victoria Park.
Peter pulls out his handheld devices to check the Duolingo app.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Maintaining my language streaks is as important as swimming.
Tappinig the screens, Peter practises Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, German and French.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Completing each lesson is like a splash of joy in my day.
We see on screen Peter scoring many "100%" and the remark: Perfect Lesson!
Act 2
INT. TUNG WAH HOSPITAL - 12:15
In protective gear, Peter walks towards Alfred's bed with two boxes of strawberries. Peter sees ALFRED'S WIFE nursing ALFRED.
PETER: Hi there!
Seeing Peter, Alfred's face lights up.
ALFRED'S WIFE: Alfred likes to listen to your stories.
As Alfred nods, he begins to count with his left hand fingers.
ALFRED: One...two...three...four...five...
PETER: Yes, I've four children...the fifth one is a Shiba Inu...
Alfred is wide-eyed.
PETER: My wife and I are empty nesters... Our Shiba Inu sleeps with us...I've written songs for our pet too!
Alfred looks shocked.
ALFRED: Video...video...
Pulling out his mobile, Peter mines a MV from his YouTube channel and shows it to Alfred and his wife.
PETER: Check it out.
On screen, we hear Peter singing a song and see a Shiba Inu sleeping, running or chasing a ball...All smiles.
INT. CONSULTATION ROOM - 14:50
Peter is consulting DOCTOR LEE, who is reviewing Peter's blood test results.
DOCTOR LEE:...Your cholesterol is well within range. Keep up the medication and exercise.
PETER: I'm grateful for your thoughtful advice over the years. Your medical care has made a great difference in my life.
Both Dr Lee and Peter smile warmly.
INT. VICTORIA PARK PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL - 16:45
Emerging from the pool, Peter makes his way to the changing room.
PETER (V.O): I feel the cold air hitting my damp skin.
As he reaches locker#1071, he can't open it with the key#1071.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): What's the problem?
We see unease on Peter's face, as he tries again and again without success.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I'm feeling very cold. Let me keep myself warm under the heater and try again later.
Later, Peter tries again and the lock clicks open instantly.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Surprise, I don't know how I've done it! Anyway.
EXT. VICTORIA PARK - 17:00
Lots of PEOPLE are visiting the Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo. Peter joins his WIFE whose arms are full of bags.
WIFE: I've bought some chestnuts for you...
PETER: Let me carry some bags...and let's shop more to support Hong Kong's economy...
They shop and shop, carrying more bags. Later, with receipts in hand, they queue and see others getting nice lucky draw gifts. Soon, their turns come.
WIFE: I've got an ice cream coupon. What have you got?
PETER: Herbal medicine...I don't think I need it!
PETER (V.O): I might come to the Expo again, as I want to do the lucky draw again!
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - 22:00
Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled: "Carrying Joy...." to a draft in his laptop.
PETER (V.O): By carrying joy in my heart, I strive to be reason someone smiles.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Having my regular check ups, I feel the positive impact of medication and exercise on my well being.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Joy can be found in everyday activiities, like shopping and carrying purchases from the Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo.
