Act 1
EXT. ROADSIDE - DAY
Raining. KAJI gets inside a car, followed by PETER and the PACK LEADER.
KAJI (V.O.): I love going on long walks with the Pack Leader and Peter.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We had a very nice time in a park yesterday.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I enjoyed kicking grass after getting light.
Seated on Pack Leader's lap, Kaji looks outside.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What I don't like is water dropping from the sky.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I hope I won't see bright flashes and hear loud noises.
Act 2
EXT. ROADS/PASSING BAY - LATER
Peter is driving. We see the moving car's windscreen wipers working hard.
PACKLEADER: The rain makes her tremble.
KAJI (V.O.): Being outside, I'm not just listening, but seeing the rain.
PETER: There aren't lightnings and thunders.
As the car stops at a passing bay, Peter lowers the windows a little.
KAJI (V.O.): Let me find out where we're now.
Kaji sniffs deeply the air outside.
KAJI (V.O.): Oh, the pet garden is around the corner. Let me out!
Kaji whines.
PETER: Let her out.
PACKLEADER: No, I don't want her fur to get soaked.
KAJI (V.O.): I want to go to the pet garden!
Whining again.
PACKLEADER: Let's go shopping at the mall first. I'll walk her there.
INT. CARPARK, MALL - LATER
Trotting ahead of the the Pack Leader, Kaji sniffs around.
KAJI (V.O.): It's no place for me.
Kaji leads the Pack Leader back to the car.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I prefer rejoining Peter.
Getting inside the waiting car, Kaji goes to sit on Peter's lap.
PETER: Good girl.
PACKLEADER: I go shopping.
We see Kaji and Peter waiting inside the car.
KAJI (V.O.) : I feel bored even with Peter's company.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't like this place.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I want to be left alone.
Kaji leaves Peter to take a passenger seat by herself. Soon, a PASSER-BY appears.
PASSER-BY: What a beautiful shiba inu!
PETER: Thank you.
PASSER-BY (Cont'd): My daughter loves to see even a photo of it. Can I take a photo?
PETER: Sure!
Kaji stares at the Passer-by.
KAJI (V.O.): Why does the woman point her handheld device at me when I'm down!
Act 3
EXT. ROADSIDE - LATER
We see Kaji and the Pack Leader getting off the car.
KAJI (V.O.): One good thing about the rain is that it stops eventually.
They walk towards the pet garden.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Life isn't about waiting for the rain to pass. It's about taking steps even in the rain.
'They arrive at the entrance.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I hope the garden would look better after the rain.
