  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I might not know anybody at the reception. Nobody would care if I don't turn up.

  12. Pausing.

  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Anyway, see how it goes.

  29. PETER (V.O.): If I don't work in retirement, I won't be joining the young and bright.

  30. Crowded Room. A WAITER offers red wine and champagne.

  31. PETER: Let me help myself with a cup of orange juice.

  32. Going to the bar, Peter sees a familiar face.

  38. Recalling.

  39. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The opportunity was meant for Doug, but he had an urgent court appearance and recommended me to go instead.

  40. Pausing.

  41. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now, I realize such an assignment is rare.

  42. Peter then engages GUESTS#1 & 2.

  43. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): One is a rising star in politics. The other is a visionary professor.

  44. After a few speeches and rounds of applauses, Peter chats with his son. Then a LADY intervenes smilingly.

  56. Pausing.

  57. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): At the end of the day, it was a good one. Catherine's remarks about my elder son and me were non-obvious to me.
