Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): His Foundation has made the Shaw Auditorium at HKUST possible. That's admirable.
Peter checks his investment history of the stock.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): On Oct 18 this year, I bought my first lot at HK$6, and then at lower prices on Nov 16, 17 and 19...
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me offer to buy at HK$5. It can't go that low.

Peter is having a discussion with an expatriate GENTLEMAN.
PETER: Do you think if Hong Kong should introduce a law to protect the creativity of performers?
GENTLEMAN: Definitely not. They're directed. They act like puppets. They don't deserve any copyright-related rights.
RETURN TO PRESENT
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The gentleman was a TVB manager. I did recommend some performer protection as a law reform option. It enhanced performer's bargaining power somewhat.

RETURN TO PRESENT
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It was a popular news programme. I shared some observations as a part-time international law lecturer. I was quite autonomous and wasn't paid.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Anything wrong with the media company's value propositions? Who's the person in charge now?
Peter researches with his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, is he in charge now? He's quite a creative person. I engaged him a few times while he was with the Hong Kong Performing Artistes Guild.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My wife has been a great supporter of TVB dramas, whether new or old.
Peter reads a commentary on his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A potential competitor turned to e-commerce and its worth is now four times larger than the media company.

Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Drama doesn't happen by itself. The media company creates it and I associate with it.
