Waking up, PETER grabs his mobile and checks WhatsApp and WeChat messages.
PETER (V.O.): Today is the first day of the Year of the Dragon. I've got many greetings from all walks of life.
We see on screen the red dragon motif.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): In Chinese culture, red symbolizes good luck, happiness and celebration.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): The dragon itself is regarded as a powerful creature, associated with strength, wisdom and good fortune.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): A red dragon is therefore a symbol of prosperity. Displaying images or sculptures of red dragons is to attract it, especially in the new year.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): The Year of the Dragon is a highly anticipated year in the Chinese zodiac cycle.
Act 2
INT. BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS
Peter prompts an AI drawing bot.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Since yesterday, I've been doing this to generate AI drawings with the dragon theme.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I need the technical tool to bring my imaginative vision to life with ease and precision.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): There's no way I can create dynamic and realistic dragon illustrations myself.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I dislike most of the AI drawings, as they look like those that have been forwarded to me.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I need to experiment how to develop my unique style.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Let me make it personal.
Peter types "a man riding a dragon" in the prompt bar, and hits "Send".
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): Not sure what I'd get.
Within a few seconds, we see an AI drawing depicting a man riding a green dragon.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): Oh, I can't take colour red for granted.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): But this AI drawing would be good to reciprocate a friend whose passion has been to mitigate climate change.
After reciprocating the friend via his mobile, Peter refines his prompt and we see a white-haired man riding a red dragon in the sky.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): The look of the red dragon is quite menacing...
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): How about a smiling or happy red dragon?
Having modified his prompt and hit "Send", Peter looks pleased with the AI drawings generated.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Yes, the dragon is visibly charismatic now.
After reciprocating his dragon greetings to a chatgroup, Peter sees a quick feedback.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): "Are you the dragon?"
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): If I'm the dragon, who's that old man riding on me?
Pondering.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): It'd be dreamy if good people would ride the red dragon with me.
Soon, we see an AI drawing depicting young ones riding a red dragon in the sky.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): But we aren't young anymore.
Peter modifies the prompt to read as "a group of old men and women..." and gets what he wants.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): Let me also create one with two young boys riding a red dragon in the sky for my former primary school classmate.
Staring at the AI drawing, Peter daydreams.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 23:30
Working on a laptop, Peter inserts an AI drawing to a text.
PETER (V.O): The AI drawing depicts a white-haired bespectacled man riding a red dragon in the sky. It's my Dragon Greetings to all in the Year of the Dragon.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): While dragons are mythical creatures associated with power, luck and wisdom, my greetings signify connection, celebration and warm wishes.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I mean to encourage all to embrace art, culture and the spirit of reciprocity to create a world filled with joy and positivity.
