Blinking away the remnants of his sleep, Peter's consciousness emerges.
PETER (V.O): Sweet memories floats on the forefront of my mind.
MONTAGE OF PETER'S SWEET MEMORIES
A. Reading a friend's "cool!" remark in a mail, Peter smiles.
B. Reading a-smiling-face-with-hearts emoji in another mail, Peter smiles.
END MONTAGE
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): When I got Covid in May this year, I isolated myself and began to use AI drawings as inserts to my literary works.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Yesterday, I responded to two festive greetings with AI drawings that I prompted.
Act 2
INT. HK CLUB BUILDING - 09:50
Toilet. A COLLEAGUE chats with Peter.
COLLEAGUE: Peter, you play the guitar and sing your song...
PETER (V.O.): He must have watched the MV of my KT song.
PETER: I don't play the guitar well and I haven't learned composing. I just want to showcase creativity.
Peter colleague looks bewildered.
PETER (Cont'd): I want to motivate others to be creative ie If I can do it, so can you.
Later, coming out of the conference room, Peter checks emails in his mobile. He focuses on a festive greeting.
PETER (V.O.): Oh, another colleague has included me in her mailing list.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): She is treating me as her friend and I appreciate that.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Let me reciprocate with something personalized.
As Peter prompts an AI drawing bot in his mobile and resends his message, we see on screen AI drawings appearing one after another.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): This one looks nice.
Inserting the AI drawing depicting a beautiful woman in an office into his email, Peter sends it.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I hope the AI drawing will bring a smile to her face.
INT. SITTING ROOM - 15:15
Entering, the sight of his younger SON with his GIRLFRIEND makes Peter smile.
SON: Dad!
Standing with an affectionate smile, the son's girlfriend presents Peter with two small but elegant bags of gift and a card depicting a family of six.
GIRLFRIEND: I made the small gifts and drew the drawing...
PETER (V.O.): I love any item that is done with thoughtfulness and effort on the part of the giver.
PETER: Brilliant! Thank you so much!
Smilingly, Peter takes a photo of the items and sends it via his mobile to his family chatgroup.
PETER (Cont'd): You draw very well, particularly of my younger son!
INT. STUDY - 15:30
Responding to other festive greetings in his mobile, Peter inserts AI drawings of people or a man with a guitar.
PETER (V.O.): The drawings symbolize either the senders or me.
Then, Peter sees one festive greeting with a family photo.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): For those wishing me and my family well, why don't I reciprocate with an AI drawing symbolizing my family?
Prompting AI drawing bots and seeing drawings generated in his mobile, Peter doesn't look pleased.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): My family isn't that large but the AI bots don't seem to be able to count properly.
Soon, Peter sees on screen: Due to limited capacity...you have 2 free messages left across all bots...
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Drawing is a way to connect two things, like the power of poetry to reconnect what has been separated.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): It takes two to stay connected. It isn't uncommon that one may be shy to make any move.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 22:00
Peter checks the many AI drawings in his mobile.
PETER (V.O): I'm applying ArtTech to draw my ideas. It's so delightful to see the AI drawings.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O)(Cont'd): Small creative acts can brighten others' day and foster positive connections.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Apart from drawing connections, any act of creative expression can spark inspiration and lead to further creativity.
