FADE IN.
Act 1
INT. STUDY - 12:00
Having screen time, PETER reads an answer request.
PETER (V.O.): What comes to mind first when you hear or read "what was once imagined is now reality"? That's the question.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Ageing. That's how I feel.
Inserting an image focusing on MTR priority seats, Peter types on the smartphone.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): The number of people older than me never increases and is constantly decreasing.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Many are dying during the pandemic times.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): My limiting belief is that I don't know if I'd live the next moment.
Act 2
EXT. HIGHWAY - 13:30
Sunny. Peter is driving a silver coupe, listening to the radio.
PETER (V.O.): My upper arm pain after my 3rd jab has almost gone.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Decluttering my NT home is a never-ending job.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): And I don't want my cars sitting idle for too long. Left unused cars have lots of problems.
EXT. ESTATE LAKESIDE- 14:30
Peter is watching the swans in the water.
PETER (V.O.): It's quite warm today. I should have gone swimming.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): No. I'm not supposed to do any sports soon after taking the jab.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I didn't know about that after taking my 1st jab last June. I went to Golden Beach and swam 1000 meters.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Those who cared about me weren't happy when they knew about that later.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Oh, yes, the beaches and swimming pools are still closing.
Peter watches the pigeons sunbathing on the grass.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): So, I run instead, hoping to add moments in my life.
Peter watches rows of flowers in flower beds.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): It was only after my formal retirement that I enjoy seeing them at any moment.
Peter captures some images.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Every flower blooms at its own pace from within.
Peter touches his belly.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I won't eat in my favourite lakeside restaurant either. It's safer to buy takeaway and eat at home these days.
EXT. PARK LANE - 18:00
Peter connects the red and black jump leads to the batteries of a silver coupe and a red coupe.
PETER (V.O.): When I left the red coupe on the last occasion, I didn't lock it and didn't close the door properly. The battery went flat because of the automatic lighting.
As Peter starts the red coupe, we hear engine cranking sounds.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'm used to doing that. But it's still a hassle.
Peter rearranges the parking order of his cars.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): As my red coupe doesn't have automatic gears, I've to release the clutch at the right pace so that the car won't go off.
EXT. HIGHWAY - 18:30
Peter is driving his red coupe without turning on the sound system.
PETER (V.O.): My manual car goes faster than automatic ones. The car battery should be recharged faster too.
Peter sees the Nipple Mountain in the evening twilight.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Beautiful, like the twilight of my life.
Act 3
INT. STUDY - 22:30
Peter touches his left arm pit.
PETER (V.O.): It's painful there. Anyhow, life is inherently risky.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A flower bud may remain tight and can't be forced open.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Meanwhile, I'll be gentle with the process where I become the person I should be.
