Act 1
EXT. FERRY TRIP TO PENG CHAU - 10:00
Crowded. Taking the remaining isle seat, PETER smilingly puts his red bag and ukulele on his lap.
PETER (V.O.): I arrived at the ferry pier just three minutes before departure.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Should I miss this one, I won't wait for the 10:45 one and will go to Lantau instead.
Peter types "Peng Chau One-day Tour" on the phone screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me see what did I miss during my last visit in Sept.
Reading sight-seeing recommendations.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'll see a historical plaque and a tortoise rock. And then I'll go to a nearest beach along the Peng Chau Family Walk to practise ukulele.
Reading restaurant information.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the only congee stall has already closed its morning session. What other unexpected stuff should I expect today?
Act 2
EXT. PENG CHAU - 10:45
Wing On Street. Peter is reading a historical plaque placed adjacent to the Tin Hau Temple.
PETER (V.O.): It was a Qing government undertaking not to requisition fishing boats to combat piracy.
Later, Peter goes to the Secret Garden and sees some artistic women models.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They're new. There weren't here last month.
Later, Peter stops before a small but full tea house.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I should eat something first...Ah, someone is asking for the bill.
Then, two women TOURISTS rush to do the "LeaveHomeSafe" scans at the entrance. Peter leaves.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Why don't I go to the snacks stall I went the last time?
Snacks stall. Having had two plates of dumplings and a bowl of red bean sugar water, Peter buys a bottle of herbal water from the PROPRIETOR.
PETER (V.O.): I believe she recognizes me.
PROPRIETOR: You go fishing now?
PETER: No, I'll play the ukulele later.
Later. At Tai Lei Mini Beach, Peter gets closer to the Tortoise Rock to take photos. We hear some Filipino conversations in the background.
PETER (V.O.): How nice to have a party here!
As WOMAN#1 enter the water, Peter sees WOMAN#2 who is with WOMEN#3 & #4 under a shade rushing in his direction towards Woman#1.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): She's so excited and can't wait...
Then, all see Woman#2 accidentally lowering all her pants before lifting them up again. We hear women laughter.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My first time seeing this under broad daylight!
Smiling subtly, Peter walks past WOMEN#3 & #4 who are staring at him. Then, Peter turns his head to have another look of WOMAN#2 in a distance.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What a special moment! It's largely for my eyes only.
Later, at a small beach along the Peng Chau Family Walk, Peter is playing ukulele under a shade. There're other TOURISTS walking the Walk.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I think I've learned the difficult fingerings of "Fly Me to the Moon".
Later, WOMAN#5 appears and begins to do exercises at the shoreline.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):It makes a good photo.
Having taken a snapshot of his sight, Peter continues playing. As he finishes playing the ending chords of A#6, G#6 and G6, Peter sees WOMAN#5 turning her head to smile at him.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is that really for me? Has she been listening?
Looking shy, Peter continues to practise, paying no further attention to Woman#5. Then, we see Woman#5 leaving.
WOMAN#5 (to Peter): Bye!
PETER: Bye...Bye!
PETER (V.O.): Were her exercises at the shoreline for my eyes only?
Having checked there's nobody around, Peter leaves the shade to take some selfies.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Can't she see that I'm a white-haired guy?
Peter takes a deep breath of the sea breeze before leaving.
Act 3
EXT. FERRY TRIP TO CENTRAL - 16:00
Sitting in an isle seat, Peter checks Google Photos.
PETER (V.O.): For moments captured by my phone camera, I can see them. For moments not captured, I can visualize them in my mind.
Pausing at the image featuring Woman#5.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Seemingly, it's a little moment. Actually, it isn't. I didn't expect it'd happen.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Good moments of today can soothe my heart for many tomorrows.
Taking a look of his ukulele, Peter smiles.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While the best things in life aren't things, this little thing has brought me perfect moments.
