PETER (V.O.): Google Maps has just notified me that dozens of people have already read my review on Big Wave Bay Rock Carvings.
Scrolling up/down the screen.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Before I went there, I had gone to Lantau and Lamma Island, but I hadn't reviewed the places of interest yet.
Selecting some images, Peter adds them to a draft and posts them.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Okay, I've done one. A couple of more reviews to write.
Surfing Google Maps, Peter examines places of interest in Lantau.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I haven't visited Upper Cheung Sha Beach.
Peter then focuses on Lamma Island.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, there's a Kamikaze Cave. I walked past it but missed it!

FLASHBACK
INT. RESTAURANT - DAY (2015)
Peter (61) & his WIFE are having lunch with a LADY and a GENTLEMAN.
GENTLEMAN: Do you enjoy your retirement?
PETER: I'm still adapting to the change.
GENTLEMAN: How?
PETER: I've started travelling at least once a month.
GENTLEMAN: Would you consider working as a local guide?
FLASHBACK UPON FLASHBACK - DAY (2015)
Rome. Spanish Steps. Among other TOURISTS, Peter and his wife are listening to the briefing of a local GUIDE.
PETER: She's very good. How much does she charge?
WIFE: Not a cent. We'll give her tips.
END FLASHBACK UPON FLASHBACK
PETER: I've never considered the option.
RETURN TO PRESENT
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't think my time would be well spent that way.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I visited Ishigaki in July 2017 for the first time, I was very impressed with the service of a scuba diving guide.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Apart from thanking him in person right away, I joined the same tour the following day.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But he wasn't on duty. And I felt the second tour wasn't as good as the first one.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): As I still wanted to recognize the guide's excellent service, I joined Google's Local Guide and started writing travel reviews.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): They also serve as my memory triggers as to where I've been and what I've done.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Playing my role as a real local guide, I've also started promoting Hong Kong to the world.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Soon, I found that people liked to read my reviews and photos.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But the pandemic has demotivated me, until recently.
Peter checks his profile on Google Maps.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): So far, I've written 1284 reviews, and I'm a Level 9 Google Local Guide.
Peter takes a look of Google Maps.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I've missed places of interest myself!
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - CONTINUOUS
The setting sun shines through a window.
PETER (V.O.): Upon retiring from civil service, I travelled for travel's sake, treating travel as work.
Peter writes another review on Yung Shue Wan Pier.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This pandemic makes me realise that it's a great affair to travel here, there and everywhere.
From Google Photos, Peter selects an image depicting the setting sun shining at an approaching ferry.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Wherever I go now, I go with all my heart, from start to finish, aiming to finish strong.
