  5. PETER (V.O): I'm now ranked no.1 in its Ruby league!

  6. Peter leans back in the sofa, content.

  7. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I've really outdone myself this time.

  8. As he turns to his emails, Peter's expression shifts.

  9. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Oh, I don't know an email I've been expecting has actually arrived two days ago.

  10. Peter opens and reads.

  12. Peter types his reply, attaching a video clip.

  13. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): We can do a video call today, and the theme of my MV has summarized what I want to say.

  14. Act 2

  15. INT. STUDY - CONTINUOUS

  16. Soon, Peter reads a reply with two links.

  17. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Oh, Q reciprocates with her song and poems. And she's more keen to interview me in person.

  18. Peter watches a MV and reads the poems.

  19. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): The matter is a HKUST business. Let's meet at its Business School in Central next week then.

  20. Peter sends his email and reads a prompt reply.

  21. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Done! Let me do what I want to do now...

  22. Ringtones. Seeing the caller is "Emily" on screen, Peter picks up the call.

  23. EMILY (from mobile): Hi Peter, I've just sent you the draft brochure. I want your endorsement before issuing it to the public.

  24. PETER (to mobile): Okay, I'll come back to you shortly.

  25. Having found the brochure attached to a WhatsApp message, Peter sees images of him and others.

  26. PETER (V.O): Wow, Emily has mined my image somewhere without bothering me to send her one.

  27. Having responded, Peter sees a prompt remark: Very much looking forward to watching your performance.

  28. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Emily anticipates that I'd write and perform a song at her Institute's function.

  29. Pausing.

  30. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I don't know if I can come up with a song good for the occasion at all. It's about legal translation...serious stuff.

  31. Peter feels for his stomach and then checks the time.

  32. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): It's time for a delayed lunch.

  33. EXT. RESTAURANT - 15:15

  37. INT. APARTMENT - 16:00

  38. While tidying a few things, Peter gets a call.

  39. PETER (V.O): It's from an instructing solicitor. I asked him to facilitate something days ago.

  52. Act 3

  53. INT. STUDY - 22:30

  54. Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "Genality and Governance ..." to a draft.

  55. PETER (V.O): While geniality and governance are contrasting concepts, the alliteration of the terms' "g" sounds creates a smooth, rhythmic quality.

  56. Thinking.

  57. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Genality is warm, and interpersonal, while governance is formal and business-oriented.

  58. Reflecting.

  59. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Between personal qualities and professional responsibilities, I believe I can still strike a fair balance.
