PETER and his WIFE are chatting.
PETER: Shall we go and see a movie?
His wife takes a look of KAJI, the family pet.
WIFE: How can we leave her alone at home?
PETER: Let us play a DVD then.
WIFE: I don't want to re-watch any.
Peter's wife then grabs the remote control and then turns on the audio systems.
PETER (V.O.): I'll defer to my wife's choice.
On screen, we see the logos of Disney+, and Apple, and then the title: The Beatles: Get Back...
.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh my God!
Act 2
INT. SITTING ROOM - CONTINUOUS
Peter looks excited.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Today's a public holiday, otherwise we won't have such leisure.
We see opening subtitles: The Beatles have three weeks to complete 14 new songs and a live show.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Isn't today Buddha's birthday?
Peter checks the phone diary.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, it was yesterday. Nominally, I'm Buddhist.
We hear the audio recording and the image of a band called the Quarryman back in 1956.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): John Lennon was aged 16, Paul McCartney 14 and George Harrison 13.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I was just 2-year old and my wife was unborn.
On screen, we see scenes of Beatlemania and then lengthy discussions on song-writing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's very interesting. If I don't write songs, I wouldn't appreciate it.
We hear from screen riffs that sound like the Beatles' number "Get Back".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, that's how the song is originally derived!
We see and hear further exchanges of ideas on song-writing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It seems that George Harrison wants to contribute but he isn't taken seriously.
Then we hear from screen lots of discussions on where to do the live show.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): "Insane" as George Harrison puts it.
Then we see footage on discussions of sheet music royalties.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I bought lots of publications of OK Hits and Hit Parade.
Peter takes a look of his wife.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): She's looks pretty bored.
WIFE: How long do we have to wait to see their live show?
PETER: Should we stop watching and walk the dog now?
Peter's wife checks something with her smartphone.
WIFE: We've already watched the documentary for about 2 hours. The video clip will end in about 45 minutes. Let's finish that before we go.
PETER: Very good!
Later, we see and hear from screen George Harrison saying: I think I'll be leaving the band now.
PETER (V.O.): I didn't know about that!
We see black screen, and soon thereafter, end credits.
WIFE: Is that right? Oh, it's only the end of Episode 1.
INT. KOREAN RESTAURANT - 19:00
Accompanied by Kaji, Peter and his wife are having dinner.
WIFE: When did John Lennon die?
PETER: He was shot dead in 1980 by one of his fans.
WIFE: Why?
PETER: Because he commented that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus.

PETER (V.O.): The rare footage of Get Back are still lingering in my mind.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My first time watching the tense and uncomfortable scenes of the Beatles in Jan 1969, although I read about them decades ago.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Sometimes, people have to fall apart to understand how much they need to fall back to each other.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's very nice to get back to the rock-and-roll days. I won't miss Episodes 2-3.
