PETER sits on a sofa, his phone on the table. KAJI, the family pet, snuggles beside him.
PETER (V.O.): Today's dip in the stock market is anticipated and is beyond my control.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In October 2022, I experienced my first significant financial loss.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): To cope with the emotional turmoil, I visited the outlying islands of Hong Kong, bringing my ukulele along for the trips.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I played the fingerpicking arrangement of the song "Fly Me to the Moon" on beaches and caught the attention of someone special.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Before today's dip, the Hong Kong stock market has become quite healthy and I've lost less money; and what stands out is the unforgettable mood of those trips.
Act 2
INT.PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL - 10:15
Mostly old SWIMMERS. Peter enters the water.
PETER (V.O.): I believe swimming is the best exercise for overall health.
Peter swims breaststroke.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It works all major muscle groups, providing a full-body workout.
Peter swims freestyle.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's low-impact, making it gentle on the joints, ideal for all ages.
Peter swims backstroke.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Swimming improves cardiovascular health, strengthening the heart and lungs.
Peter swims butterflystyle.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's also great for mental well-being, reducing stress and anxiety.
Peter exits.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Swimming is more than work to me; I swim seven days a week whenever I'm in Hong Kong.
INT. PHONE REPAIR SHOP - 12:00
Peter approaches the PROPRIETOR.
PETER: Hi Dickie, I think I need to replace the battery of my iPhone 12 Pro Max. It keeps shutting down even when the battery level shows 79%.
Dickie opens the phone, removes the old battery, and installs a new one.
DICKIE: The battery health is now at 100%.
PETER: Great!
DICKIE: Are you aware that the stock market is experencing a decline today due to the ongoing US tariff war?
Peter nods.
DICKIE (Cont'd) :Wealth among individuals has diminished by at least 10%.
PETER (V.O.):I remain calm despite the dim prospect.
INT. SAIZERIYA - 13:15
While eating Grilled Escarcots and Meat Doria with a Soft-boiled Egg, Peter places stock trading orders through a securities app.
PETER (V.O.): That's how I turn the negative sentiment into a positive one - by seizing the opportunity in a dip market to buy low.
Peter confirms his orders.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): However, my available cash is limited.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): This morning, I noticed a young resident in my building, who was once agile, now relying on a walking stick for support.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel grateful I don't have to use one yet.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Since I don't know when I might lose my cognitive abilities like my Mum has, I told my son yesterday where to find my "wealth".
Smiling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I like to believe a significant portion of my wealth lies in my intangible intellectual property.
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - 21:00
Peter inserts an AI drawing titled: "Health Over Wealth..." to a draft on his laptop.
PETER (V.O): Health is the foundation upon which all prosperity is built.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I invest in my health; it's the only wealth that truly pays dividends.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): As health is my priority, every day becomes a treasure.
