PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The question is simply: How can I work for the things that I want, like a car and an apartment?
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is it a no-brainer? Work hard, be smart.
Pausing.

Peter goes out.

PETER: Painful?

Eating and listening.

Peeling small oranges, Peter passes segments to his Mom.
PETER: Has anybody visited you recently?
MOM: No...Oh yes, your younger brother brought me dinner yesterday.
PETER: Do you want to take the jabs so that you can go to restaurants?
MOM: No, I'll wait. I hope the restrictions will be relaxed soon.
PETER: Is there any rubbish I can dump for you?
MOM: No! You sister and brothers all like to do that.
