Having checked the bedside clock, PETER gets out of bed.
PETER (V.O): Let me have breakfast with Kaji, the family pet.
EXT. LIVING ROOM - Later
Peter practises Japanese via the Dulingo app on his mobile.
PETER (V.O): Ha, I'm on a 100-day learning streak in Japanese.
Having shared his progress on a Facebook feed, Peter sighs.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Over 32 years ago, Sharon was learning advanced Japanese.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): When she became sick, her first regret was that she couldn't continue to pursue her interest.
Act 2
INT. STUDIO - 14:00
Peter is playing "A Summer Place".
PETER (V.O): Sharon's second regret was that she couldn't play the piano anymore.
Playing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I always think Sharon is helping me to pick up the skills.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Sharon's final regret was that she couldn't live to see what our son would become.
MONTAGE OF WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY
A. Home. Peter's SON and DAUGHTER-IN-LAW come home for dinner.
B. Diner. Peter observes his son and daughter-in-law laugh easily, their eyes locked on each other.

PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): I like to believe Sharon could also witness all these.
EXT. MALL - 14:45
Standing before an ATM, Peter does a bill payment.
PETER (V.O.): A brother has alerted me that the rate payment of my parents' apartment has become overdue.
Taping the keys.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then, I realized that I had set an auto-pay limit 20 years ago and now the rate has risen beyond that limit.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Today, I want to be occupied and have learned how to fix that via online banking.
Sighing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My Dad died over 10 years ago and my Mum has become senile.
INT. LIVING ROOM - 15:15
Mobile in hand, Peter is filling a form electronically.
PETER (V.O.): I'm applying for new access cards to the estate carpark for my wife and my son.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's just one of the many small steps for the transition-out-and-transition-in.
INT. CAR PARK - 17:30
Peter and his WIFE are at their Previa. Leaving only the driver's door open, Peter turns the ignition switch "on" and "off" with a traditional key five times.
PETER: But don't start the car engine.
Then, they see the key icon in the dashboard flashing.
PETER (Cont'd): Now, I press any key of the first remote control, and we should hear a locking sound.
We hear a locking sound.
PETER (Cont'd): Then, press any key of the second remote control to reprogram two key fobs.
We hear another locking sound.
PETER (Cont'd): The reprogramming is done. To finish the process, just start the car engine.
We hear engine cranking sounds.
PETER (Cont'd): I want you to know how to do it when I'm not around.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - 21:30
Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "Holding On To Love" to a draft on a laptop.
PETER (V.O): Since losing Sharon, I've endeavoured to internalize her in me.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): As such, I've the desire to continue living so that I'd know if our shared dreams would come true.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Now, I find solace and strength in the love that persists, even after loss.
