PETER (V.O.): The Hong Kong Flower Show 2023 begins today.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's at the Victoria Park.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've considered going to Cheung Chau today to see the Sakura blossoms there.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But my wife and I are flying to Japan in late March to see Sakura blossoms.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me go swimming before seeing the Flower Show.
Act 2
MONTAGE OF PETER'S ACTIVITIES.
A. Peter takes his WIFE's car lift to Central.
B. Peter swims in the Morrison Hill swimming pool.
C. In a Vietnamese restaurant, Peter has Pho beef ball noodles in soup.
D. In Tom Lee Music, Peter checks a red Vox teardrop mini electric guitar.

EXT. VICTORIA PARK - 13:45
Crowded. Flowers, in particular Hydrangea, are everywhere.
PETER (V.O.): People love flowers.
We hear SOMEONE#1 remarking: Hong Kong is opening up again.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): On my way here, I've seen lots of tourists.
Peter has his iPad mini camera ready.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Flowers bring colour to the world.
Peter finds angles.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Flowers carry magic in their blossoms.
Peter takes videos and photos featuring the flowers and avoiding the crowd.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): When flowers bloom, so is hope.
We see PEOPLE taking photos and selfies tirelessly.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): People's happiness blooms from within.
Capturing video clips and photos of aesthetic flower arrangements.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's diversity. Hong Kong ones aside, the styles of Korea, Japan, Thailand and Singapore are also on display.
Peter sees many STUDENTS are sketching flower paintings.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Photography captures the exact moment in time. Drawing is a meditation; it may omit or add something.
Peter captures the interactive moments.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Both require labour, skill and judgment.
In a section, Peter sees Tulips in full bloom.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Around 10 years ago, I flew to Amsterdam to see the blooming Tulips.
In a Japanese section, Peter sees Sakura in full bloom under the bright sun.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The ambience isn't bad.
Later, in another section, we hear SOMEONE#2 lamenting: ...same as other years before the pandemic, except this one.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG, have I missed all the previous Shows?
Later, we hear SOMEONE#3 querying: Where aren't there any bees, although flowers are everywhere?
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Probably due to urban sprawl.
Peter takes a look of the tall buildings nearby.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Shouldn't we see just the beautiful flowers even when petals have flaws?
Act 3
INT. SITTING ROOM - 20:30
Peter is reading a text on his phone screen.
PETER (V.O.): The Hong Kong Flower Show 2023 will end on March 19. Nothing in nature bloom all year round.
Peter types on his laptop.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):There're always flowers for those who want to see them - either staying in Hong Kong or flying abroad.
Reflecting.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Like flowers, all can bloom; we're the flowers of life.
Selecting a colourful image from his Photos app, Peter features it in a text on screen.
