  3. INT. STUDY - 10:00


  4. Checking Quora answer requests on screen, PETER is bewildered.


  5. PETER (V.O.): A fan asks my view on the art exhibit "Beyond Van Gogh: Immersive Experience"


  6. Peter surfs the web.


  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's shown in North America in 2021. I haven't seen it.


  8. Pausing.


  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love the 2017 animated film "Loving Vincent". I've recently re-watched it.


  10. Pausing.


  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Van Gogh sliced off his left ear in his first seizure.


  12. Pausing.


  13. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Whenever I'm in the vicinity of K11 in Tsimshatsui, I'd view "Van Gogh's Ear in Hong Kong".


  14. Act 2


  15. INT. DINING ROOM - 13:00


  16. A rice dumpling is on the table. Peter captures an image of it.


  17. Recalling.


  18. PETER (V.O.): When I was a child, my grandma would buy rice dumplings from a visiting hawker to feed us.


  19. Recalling.


  20. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Wanting to reuse the dumpling leaves, the hawker would unwrap the rice dumplings for us.


  21. Recalling.


  22. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): She'd also slice them with a straw with one end in her mouth and the other end in her other hand.

  23. Recalling.


  24. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Immersing myself in the act, I picked up the skill too.

  25. Peter picks up his chopsticks.


  26. INT. MALL, WANCHAI - 16:00


  27. Shop. Peter is buying Bluetooth speakers.


  28. PETER (V.O.): Using audio-visuals, I've been turning what's around me an immersive environment.


  29. When the SHOPKEEPER presents her with two speakers, Peter stares at the lemon-yellow one.


  30. FLASHBACK


  31. INT. SHOP, WANCHAI - DAY (Spring, 2003)


  32. Peter is window shopping.


  33. PETER (V.O.): I want to buy Flora a mini radio. The lemon-yellow one appeal to my eyes.


  34. INT. QUEEN MARY HOSPITAL (Later)


  35. Patient ward. Peter talks to FLORA (40s), maintaining eye contact and holding hands.


  36. PETER (V.O.): She looks no different from before, except that she doesn't say a word.


  37. Flora doesn't brink an eye.


  38. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): But her eyes and her hand talk warmly though.


  39. Leaving, Peter passes the mini radio to Flora's HUSBAND (40s).


  40. PETER: Just a small gift to keep Flora company.


  41. INT. FUNERAL HOME - DAY (Summer, 2003)


  42. Ceremony. All PARTICIPANTS are wearing face masks. Flora's husband comes up to speak to Peter.


  43. HUSBAND: The mini radio would go with her to heaven.


  44. Nodding, Peter weeps.


  45. END FLASHBACK


  46. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's absolutely unforgettable.


  47. Taking a deep breath, Peter pays.


  48. Act 3


  49. INT. STUDY - 19:00


  50. Peter works on a laptop.


  51. 'PETER (V.O): Telling true stories is an immersive experience.


  52. Peter picks up his smartphone.


  53. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Perhaps, I can respond to my fan's answer request by sharing my alternative immersive experience.


  54. Peter mines an image from Google Photos.


  55. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe few would know Van Gogh's Ear in Hong Kong.


  56. After typing his answer, Peter stares at the brand new speakers that are being charged.


  57. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What surrounds me is what is within me too.


  58. As Peter checks his Quora answer again, we see there're hundreds of views.
