FADE IN
Act 1
EXT. FERRY TRIP, CENTRAL - SOK KU WAN - 10:20
Roomy. Sitting in a window seat, PETER, in a T-shirt and shorts, places "Buy" stock orders with his smart phone.
PETER (V.O.): I plan to explore the beaches near Sok Ku Wan before going to Hung Shing Yeh Beach to watch the setting sun.
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Travelling overseas, I'd travel to some outlying islands alone.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yesterday was the first time I travelled to Lantau, alone.
Smiling.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And today, my destination is Lamma Island.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): In 1998, I had a brief encounter with a superstar born in Lamma Island. He isn't living there anymore. I know of no one in Lamma Island.
Act 2
INT. PUBLIC TOILET, SOK KU WAN - 11:15
Peter puts on a swimming brief underneath his shorts.
PETER (V.O.): I don't know if the beaches I'm going to explore have changing facilities.
EXT. SOK KU WAN - MO TAT - 11:30
Sunny. Waking along a trail, Peter is sweating thru his T-shirt.
PETER (V.O.): My swimming brief is like a thermal underwear now.
Arriving at the small Mo Tat Wan beach, Peter sees no facilities - just a speed boat mooring nearby, and MAN#1 and WOMAN#1 are swimming.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm going to have my payback for the discomfort.
Towing his cyber-green buoy, Peter begins to swim.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I want to be conspicuous. I once witnessed a boat's propeller hitting a fallen passenger in the sea...
Soon, SOMEONE is kayaking past Peter from behind.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Not to mention there's no shark prevention net here.
Getting back to the beach, Peter picks up his belongings and leaves.
EXT. SHEK PAI WAN BEACH - 13:00
Wearing a hat, a wet swimming brief and flip flogs, Peter arrives and sees a FAMILY playing in the water.
PETER (V.O.): I need to cool down again.
Having swum a short while. Peter returns to the beach.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I see big rocks underneath the shallow water.
Seeing a public toilet nearby, Peter goes inside.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's basic.
Moving on, Peter sees by the roadside a natural water source from the hills.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ha! I can wash myself here. And my T-shirt too.
As Peter takes selfies of his wild acts in broad daylight, he sees MAN#2 appearing on his phone screen.
PETER: Oh, sorry...
MAN#2: No worry, I need the same to cool myself too!
EXT. SO KU WAN - HUNG SHING YEH BEACH - 14:30
Store. Sitting at a roadside table, the PROPRIETOR serves Peter with Tofu pudding and Peter can't wait to sample it.
PETER: Very good!
PROPRIETOR: Up to now, I've only sold $150 of it. Business hasn't been good.
We hear from a store radio anchors' chit-chatting on stock trends.
PROPRIETOR: Years ago, I lost $700,000. I dared not speculate again.
PETER (Smiling): I've lost the same in the past year...
Having chatted happily for awhile, Peter leaves as MAN#3 and WOMAN#3 walk past. Then, they see a fork in the road ahead.
MAN#3 (To Peter): Do you know which way?
Peter returns to the store to ask the Proprietor.
PROPRIETOR: The fork roads will join in the end, and there's little difference in distance.
Later, arriving in Hung Shing Yeh Wan Beach, Peter looks disappointed.
PETER (V.O.): So small. And the Lamma Power Station should prevent the setting sun from touching the sea.
.Act 3
EXT. FERRY TRIP, YUNG SHU WAN - CENTRAL - 17:15
Crowded. Sitting in a window seat, Peter, in T-shirt and shorts again, watches the sun setting.
PETER (V.O.): I speak in such a way that others may like to listen to me.
Peter takes a few shots of his sight via a closed window.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Or, I listen in such a way that others may like to speak to me.
Peter checks his images in Google Photos.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Most people are nice. They want a chat. It's part of happiness.
Peter charges his phone with a red-and-black USB phone charger.
