  3. INT. BEDROOM - 11:30


  4. Sitting up in bed, PETER is having screen time, observing his sleeping WIFE from time to time.


  5. PETER (V.O.): I want to keep my wife company.


  6. Pausing.


  7. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're experiencing something new to us.


  8. Pausing.


  9. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): My wife can now afford to wake up naturally every day.


  10. Seeing a WhatsApp message on free legal advice, Peter types "OK" on screen.


  11. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I'm adapting the new routine with my wife, although I'm still working in retirement.


  12. Peter sees his wife waking up.

  13. Act 2


  14. INT. SITTING ROOM -12:00


  15. Sitting in a piano seat, Peter is ready to practise.


  16. PETER (V.O): Since my wife's retirement, I prefer to practise here, rather than inside my studio.


  17. As he begins to practise, Peter fumbles.


  18. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I've forgotten how to play the interludes I practised a lot before my Feb trip to Seoul and Busan.


  19. Pausing.


  20. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's obvious my fingers need a fresh start too.


  21. Looking determined, Peter mines an online piano tutorial with his mobile.


  22. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me re-start from the beginning.


  23. INT. HONG KONG CLUB BUILDING - 15:00


  24. Conference room. Peter is among his COLLEAGUES.

  26. PETER (V.O.): This is an very important meeting. My volunteer status doesn't undermine my passion to create and deliver value to all.


  27. We see Peter contributing and his colleagues listening intently.


  28. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I strive to add value in any process. I'm glad that my colleagues take my insights seriously.


  29. INT. MTR STATION - 17:15


  30. Having checked his mobile's inbox, Peter types on screen.


  31. PETER (V.O.): Okay, I've to meet my client day after tomorrow.


  32. Peter continues to type.


  33. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Someone visiting Hong Kong would like to engage me too.


  34. INT. SITTING ROOM - 18:30


  35. Returning, Peter sees his younger DAUGHTER.


  36. PETER: Where's Mom?


  37. DAUGHTER: She has gone out with our family pet.


  38. PETER (V.O.): It's the first time she walks the dog on a weekday. Let me see if I can meet them at the riverside park.


  39. INT. LIFT LOBBY - 18:45


  40. As the lift door opens, Peter sees his wife and the cot carrier.


  41. PETER: Oh, you're back already.


  42. WIFE: The dog isn't eager to stay long.


  43. PETER (V.O.): A new routine for our pet too.


  44. PETER: I go swimming then...

  45. WIFE: Come back timely for dinner.


  46. PETER (V.O.): My wife insists to cook herself...Now, she has more time to enjoy her cooking.


  47. Pausing.


  48. PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Dinner time won't be at 10pm or later from now on.


  49. INT. STUDIO - 21:30


  50. Relaxing on a sofa, Peter checks WhatsApp messages.


  51. PETER (V.O.): Oh dear, a music friend who coordinates gatherings of music friends can't join the coming gathering as she has been hospitalised?

  52. Act 3


  53. INT. BEDROOM - 23:00


  54. Peter inserts an AI drawing entitled "Insights and Interludes" to a text.


  55. PETER (V.O): Insight is the power to see beyond the obvious and grasp the essence of a situation. Interlude refers to a short musical piece.


  56. Pausing.


  57. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Insight is about the application of knowledge in meaningful and transformative ways. Moments of reflection and contemplation akin to pauses between musical movements.

  59. PETER (V.O) (Cont'd): Insights and interludes convey the themes of personal growth, and the beauty found in pauses of life.
