PETER (V.O.): Is ageing a disease? That's the question.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): A disease is a harmful deviation from a being's normal functioning.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.): If ageing is a disease, is it a curable one?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Or is it just because no anti-ageing drug has been discovered yet?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me do some research.
Act 2
INT. BEDROOM - 12:00
Sitting behind an old mini-hifi set, Peter presses the Play button but the player ejects the disc.
PETER (V.O.): This old set has its temper. Yesterday, it was playing. Today, it refuses to load the disc.
Peter presses the Close and Play buttons again, but the player ejects the disc as before.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I shouldn't expect the result would be different.
Getting tools, Peter opens the old CD player.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't know how to fix it actually.
Having used a cotton bud to touch the laser component, Peter presses the Play button and the player begins to load the disc.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, have I got magic?
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Or have I disrupted its ageing process?
Researching.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While machine parts are subject to wear and tear, human cells aren't immortal too.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): There're old age-related diseases but not all old people get them.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ageing is different, every being gets it.
Thinking.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): While we must struggle against any disease. we must also try to struggle against old age if we can.

PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Even if ageing is a common disease, I don't think it's a curable one.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Supplements that might delay the aging process have to be based on evidence.
Researching.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The current life expectancy for Hong Kong, China, in 2022, is 85.16, a 0.16% increase from 2021.

Dogs are chasing each other as their MASTERS watch. Peter and his WIFE are walking their pet, KAJI.
WIFE (to Kaji): Join them!
Kaji isn't responding.
PETER: They're several years younger than her.
WIFE: Yes, she's old when compared to them.
Peter researches with his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.): Every 52 days is a year in a dog's life.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.)(Cont'd): Time flies, for all beings. That isn't our fault. It's nature.
Act 3
INT. SITTING ROOM - 23:00
Finishing FaceTime with a daughter, Peter relaxes on a sofa.
PETER (V.O.): Ageing is a natural process where we become persons we always should have been.
Peter picks up his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ageing isn't a disease. It's about adaptation and survivorship.
Peter responds to answer request from a Quoran.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd):I'll continue to exercise my body and mind, striving to add years to life and life to years.
