EXT. MTR STATION, LOK FU - 11:20
Exit A. PETER looks around for signs.
PETER (V.O.): Where's the Jockey Club Clinic, Wang Tau Hom? It's at Junction Road.
Peter taps Google Maps on his smartphone for directions.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It should just be a 7-minute walk.
Having walked uphill to the end of Wang Tau Hom South Road, Peter turns into Junction Road.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): What does the Clinic look like?
Soon, we see a small building with the sign "Jockey Club Clinic, Wang Tau Hom" on Peter's right.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): How nice! I believe it's as old as me.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. BEDROOM/SITTING ROOM - 17: 45 (Yesterday)
Peter is opening a bag of Covid-19, Rapid Antigen Test Kit.
PETER (V.O.): I've a dinner appointment with old friends at 7pm tonight.
Peter inserts a swab into his nostrils.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): And tomorrow morning, I'll have brunch with a very kind couple who will fly out the following day.
Peter dips the swab into an extraction tube.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe I'm recovering from my cold. Just to make doubly-sure that I won't be harming others.
From the extraction tube, Peter places drops of liquid into the specimen well of the test strip.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've never got Covid, either in Hong Kong or in UK, Japan, South Korea, Nansha or Macao.
We see Peter looking shocked.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Two lines?
Packing a few things, Peter goes to the sitting room to talk to his DAUGHTER.
PETER: Dad has got Covid. I'll isolate myself in our other apartment.
INT. STUDY - CONTINUOUS
Peter is busy typing on his smartphone.
PETER (V.O.): I've to excuse myself from the appointments. I've to alert my wife too.
Soon, Peter's smartphone rings.
WIFE (From phone): I've checked that I'm still negative. What would you do next?
PETER (V.O.): My mind is blank. I'm still processing the fact. Yes, I've to act timely.
PETER (To phone): I'll fix a medical appointment.
Having surfed the web on medical services on Covid, Peter makes calls.
PETER (V.O.): No replies. May be the clinics are all closed.
Peter then sees one that accepts online appointment.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It has got a 10.00am slot tomorrow.
INT. STUDY - 09.55
Smartphone in hand, Peter waits anxiously.
PETER (V.O.): I'm ready for a video-call consultation. But the clinic hasn't come back to me yet.
Making a call, Peter engages in a conversation.
PETER (To phone): ...I've to visit your clinic in person? I need to arrange someone to pick up the medication later? I can't make it...
Recalling.
PETER (V.O.): Yesterday night, a doctor-friend suggested to me to try the App "HA Go".
We see Peter registering himself with "HA Go" and trying the icon "Book Covid".
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): It seems that it isn't possible for me to have e-Health service now.
Reading the appointment rows of most Clinics, Peter sees: No Quota.
END FLASHBACK
Act 3
INT. JOCKEY CLUB CLINIC, WANG TAU HOM - 11:30
Reception. Peter presents his Identity Card.
PETER: I've an appointment at 11:45.
INT. MTR STATION, LOK FU - 13:20
Carrying bags of takeaways, Peter appears happily.
PETER (V.O.): The doctor on-call said my respiratory system was very clear. I've got the special Paxlovid medication and have already taken my first dose.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): The staff in the Clinic, from admin staff and nurse to the doctor and pharmacists, are all helpful and professional.
Pausing.
PETER (V.O.) (Cont'd): Good events don't just happen. They arrive by proactive engagement.
