Seeing some birds hanging around, KAJI chases them.
PACK LEADER: Don't be distracted, you've a business to do.
KAJI (V.O.): Yes, a kind reminder.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I'm not that desperate.
Pausing.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's unprecedented.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. HOME - DAY (OVER A FORTNIGHT AGO)
KAJI sees the Pack Leader and Peter leaving home with a baggage.
KAJI (V.O.): I know they won't allow me into their company.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I see them carrying a baggage, I know my sense of smell to tell time won't work.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I just hope that they won't be away for too long.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): As a loving dog, I'll guard the apartment.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I'll keep those staying home good company.
INT. HOME - DAY (Last Sunday)
Kaji is waiting at the door.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can smell that both of them are back.
As the door opens, Kaji sees the baggage, and then the Pack Leader and Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Hurrah! You two are back!
Smilingly, Kaji jumps on them excessively.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm excited and delighted in releasing my tension.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The next morning, Peter and I resume our food-sharing routines. He has a loving heart.
RETURN TO PRESENT
Selecting a spot, Kaji does her business leisurely.
PACK LEADER: We've to go to your groomer now.
KAJI (V.O.): What? The torture chamber again!
INT. PET GROOMING SERVICE - LATER
Having bathed Kaji and cut her nails, the STAFF is drying Kaji's fur. The Pack Leader is watching while Kaji is whining.
KAJI (V.O.): My wet fur is still heavy and I feel cold.
Whining.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): When my nails were cut, I worried that I might get hurt.
Whining.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now, the dryer is noisy and the heat is overwhelming. I'm whining and not singing!
Whining.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The Pack Leader is witnessing all these.
Kaji sees the Pack Leader pointing her hand-held device at her.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is she enjoying the pain of me?
Act 3
EXT. ROADSIDE - NIGHT
Getting inside a waiting car, Kaji immediately goes to sit on Peter's lap.
'KAJI (V.O.): He's my friend, my partner and my defender.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He's the man of my heart, the love of my life.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'll be faithful and true to him - to the last beat of my heart.
We hear birds singing.
