INT. HOME - NIGHT
KAJI is observing the PACK LEADER and PETER setting the dining table.
KAJI (V.O.): They're extending the table.
Observing Peter aligning chairs.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): There're more chairs than before.
Observing the Pack Leader putting two hot pots on the table.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're going to have a big dinner party.
As the door opens, Kaji sees a COUPLE entering.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): One is an old Gang member. The other joined the Gang only yesterday.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. HOME - DAY (YESTERDAY)
Door opening. Kaji sees a WOMAN and a MAN appearing.
KAJI (V.O.): Who are they? Let me sniff their scent.
Sniffing the woman.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Nothing is more memorable than a scent. She smells like an old Gang member.
Sniffing again.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe she has left home for some time. I really can't tell how long. I feel something so intense!
Kaji jumps on the woman enthusiastically.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's great that she's rejoining the Gang!
Welcoming.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're family!
Sniffing the man.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): His scent is new to me.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): As he comes with the old Gang member and protects her, this new Gang member can't be bad.
Welcoming.
RETURN TO PRESENT
PETER (to the couple): Hwan-yeong Hamnida!
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I guess Peter's joining me in welcoming them.
Observing, Kaji herds them to the dinner table.
PETER: Come and sit at the dining table.
Kaji observes other Gang MEMBERS taking their seats.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the Pack Leader is still busy in the kitchen.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me assume her role. I don't need to be taught to be hospitable.
Kaji jumps onto the chairs and sits between the old member and the new member.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't think they'd mind.
GANG MEMBER#1: Her bathing is long overdue.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What? Doesn't sound to be complementary.
The old member responds by smelling Kaji in the head.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's Up?
OLD MEMBER: Great scent!
The old member smells Kaji deeply again as the new member looks on smilingly.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG! She loves my smelly scent!
Act 3
INT. HOME - LATER
Kaji watches the Pack Leader and the Gang enjoying their treats.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's my duty to stay by the side to observe what's going on, like the need to guard the treats.
Pausing.
b KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): As a quiet observer, I see the most. I protect the Gang, especially when the Pack Leader is busy.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love to understand others before I let them understand me.
Peter passes a treat to Kaji, the quiet observer.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Peter understands me.
