Act 1
INT. BEDROOM/SITTING ROOM - NIGHT (Over a week ago)
Sleeping in bed, KAJI hears clock alarms.
KAJI (V.O.): So annoying.
Kaji notices PETER getting out of bed.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): No, our maid is still sleeping. Breakfast isn't ready yet.
Kaji notices the PACK LEADER getting out of bed too.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What a surprise. She often wakes up late.
Later, Kaji sees them leaving the sitting room with baggage.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Where're they going so early in the morning?
PACK LEADER (to Kaji): Stay home.
PETER (to Kaji): Be a good girl.
Act 2
INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY (A few days ago)
Walking around, Kaji looks worried.
KAJI (V.O.): I haven't seen the Pack Leader and Peter for a few days.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I haven't been to the Riverside Park since their disappearances.
INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT (A few days ago)
Resting in bed, Kaji discovers something.
KAJI (V.O.): While I've taken the Pack Leader's spot, a Gang Member has taken Peter's.
MEMBER: You seem lost. Don't worry! I'll take good care of you.
EXT. STREET - PARK - DAY (A few days ago)
Kaji leads the Gang member through the streets, maneuvering through CROWDS.
KAJI (V.O.): I know the way. She may not.
Kaji waits before traffic lights.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): If I don't get the "Go" cue from her, I may take the risk...
Soon, they arrive at a park. The Gang Member playfully lets go of the leash.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That means I can explore the Park freely.
Kaji runs around the Park, sniffing trees and lamp posts.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): This is fun!
Running with other dogs.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Catch me if you can!
INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT (Two nights ago)
Hearing sounds at the main door, Kaji looks excited.
KAJI (V.O.): Are the Pack Leader and Peter returning?
As the door opens, Kaji sees her loved ones and greets them enthusiastically.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes! You two are back!
PACK LEADER: We're sorry we were gone for so long. We miss you!
As Peter takes out a toy from a bag, Kaji hears a squeaking sound.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's music to my ears!
EXT. RIVERSIDE PARK - DAY (Yesterday)
Running, Kaji leads the Pack Leader and Peter.
KAJI (V.O.): I can't wait to go to the toilet.
Squatting with her hind legs close to the grass, Kaji defecates feces.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I just hope that I can do that as I please, without the need of waiting for days.
PACK LEADER: As you've done your business, we'll return home...
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Can't I stay a bit longer?
PETER: We've a dinner engagement in a pet-unfriendly restaurant.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT
Jumping up onto bed, Kaji takes a look of Peter.
KAJI (V.O.): I'm loyal, dedicating myself to the Pack Leader and the Gang.
Kaji then goes to lick Peter's nose.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I appreciate the little toy you bought me and find joy in simple acts of kindness.
Kaji sleeps next to Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What a reunion! I cherish all the moments I've with my loved ones.
