Act 1
INT. LIVING ROOM - THE NIGHT BEFORE
KAJI paces back and forth, sniffing the air.
KAJI (V.O.): Where's Peter?
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're at the park and in the mall a while ago.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He didn't turn up for dinner...
Sniffing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's bed time now. There's no trace of him.
Kaji goes to the bedroom, sniffing along the way.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. LIVING ROOM/BED ROOM - DAYS AGO
Hearing some sounds, Kaji goes to wait at the main door.
KAJI (V.O.): It should be Peter.
As the door opens, Kaji sees Peter with delight and jumps up to sniff Peter's pockets.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd):Usually, he has got something for me.
Following him to go to the bedroom, Kaji sees Peter settling in a bedside stool.
PETER: Search!
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's the command to find something in his pockets.
Earnestly, Kaji searches Peter's pockets.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I don't see anything.
PETER: Let me help you a little.
Smiling warmly, Peter pulls out the cut stalk of something in yellow.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, he has a banana!
As Kaji licks his upper lips, Peter takes out the banana and let Kaji sniff the banana skin.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I only like the aroma after you've peeled it.
After peeling it back, Peter breaks off a small piece in his hand and extends it to Kaji who gently takes it with care.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm grateful for Peter's sharing. There's unity in us.
They continue to share the fruit equally until there's no more left.
PETER: Finish!
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd):I can see that.
RETURN TO PRESENT
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe I've to sleep alone tonight.
INT. LIVING ROOM - TONIGHT
Restlessly, Kaji waits at the main door.
KAJI (V.O.): I'm waiting for Peter's return, whether with or without a banana.
MONTAGE OF KAJI'S OBSERVATIONS TODAY
A. Only the PACK LEADER and the GANG are having brunch, Peter is absent.
B. Only the PACK LEADER and the GANG are having dinner, Peter is absent.
END MONTAGE
Then, Kaji sees the Pack Leader going out with takeaways and delivering them to the door of a nearby unit.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've a hunch Peter's round. He just doesn't show up.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'd like to search for him if the Pack Leader allows.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Such circumstances have happened in the past.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I just hope that he's alright.
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - LATER
Kaji settles down in her bed alone.
KAJI (V.O.): There's a profound connection between Peter and me.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The bonds we form bring us joy, comfort and strength,
Reflecting.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I'm a tail of devotion. Peter is my everything, wherever you're.
