INT. HOME - DAY
A long corridor with lights on. KAJI is standing next to a Gang MEMBER at one end.
KAJI (V.O.):I'm ready.
We see the Gang Member holding a cyber-green tennis ball.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Come on, start the fetch game!
As she sees the ball soaring in the air, Kaji's eyes lock onto the ball.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel my anticipation is intensifying.
Adopting Kaji's perspective, we follow the trajectory of the ball.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Unleashed, I can burst into action with ease.
Leaping up gracefully, Kaji catches the ball with her mouth.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is my anticipation part of the game itself?
Act 2
FLASHBACK
EXT. RIVERSIDE GARDEN - DAY (Few days ago)
Cosy and inclusive green areas. Kaji leads the PACK LEADER and PETER.
KAJI (V.O.): I love the layers of green grass here.
Kaji climbs the layers and runs past groups of PEOPLE.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'm experiencing the paradox of choices.
We hear Peter talking to the Pack Leader.
PETER: Our darling baby is unable to decide which is her favourite spot of the day.
KAJI (V.O.): Is anticipation more exciting than the actual events?
MONTAGE OF KAJI'S ANTICIPATION DAYS AGO
A. Home - Day. Kaji sees the Pack Leader and Peter leaving with baggage.
B. Home - Night. Waiting near the door, Kaji gets no cues of anything happening.
C. Home - Day. As the door opens, Kaji sees the Pack Leader Peter returning with baggage.
END MONTAGE
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've anticipated their return for many days and nights.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's worth the wait. We're out and about now.
EXT. RIVERSIDE/WATERFRONT GARDEN - DAY (Yesterday)
Leading the Pack Leader and Peter, Kaji runs towards it.
KAJI (V.O.): I anticipated that we might come again soon. This is happening now!
Later, Kaji finds her favourite spot of the day to get light.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I know that soon after I've done my business, we'd be heading home.
Kaji is reluctantly to walk anywhere.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I want to stay here.
Then we hear Peter speaking to Kaji: Kai Kai...
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But we're already in the garden.
Kaji sees Peter's cue to follow him.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I live with the anticipation that something incredible may happen anytime.
Following Peter, Kaji and the Pack Leader soon enter a waterfront garden.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Wow, this is a nicer space!
Later, the Pack Leader leads Kaji to climb up a playground slide.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't have any worry as the Pack Leader is with me.
Seeing the slippery side of the slide, Kaji looks anxious.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): My anticipation of descent is making me sick...
As Kaji wants to leave from the route of accent, the Pack Leader prevents her from doing so. They then decent uncontrollably from the slide together.
RETURN TO PRESENT
Act 3
INT. HOME - NIGHT
Resting on a sofa with the Pack Leader and the Gang, Kaji is in thoughts.
KAJI (V.O.): There's no terror in the decent, only in the anticipation of it.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): In playing games with the Pack Leader and the Gang, I cultivate and cherish relationships.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Embracing the present moment, I let go of worries and anticipate joy in simple things.
FADE OUT
