Act 1
INT. LIVING ROOM - MORNING
As PETER sits on a sofa, KAJI joins him by his side.
KAJI (V.O.): He isn't sitting at the dining table.
Kaj leans against Pater.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't see the maid. She isn't working in the kitchen.
Kaji then licks Peter's face affectionately.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I believe he'll leave home and to return with bread in hand.
As Peter gets up, Kaji has her eyes fixed intensely on hm.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, do what used to do when the maid isn't around.
PETER: Stay home. I'll be back soon.
Act 2
INT. LIVING ROOM - LATER
Hearing some sounds from the outside, Kaji's ears perk up.
KAJI (V.O.): Peter 's returning.
Kaji runs to wait at the front door. As the door opens, she springs to all four paws
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Have you got bread?
Peter bends down to let Kaji sniff what is in his hand.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, the scent of bread!
Kaji whines.
INT. DINING ROOM - LATER
Sharing a chair with Peter, Kaji gets bite-sized slices of bread again and again.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's the way. I like it.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Another gang member gave me lots of treats when she's home.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Days ago, she left home with big bags. I've no idea when she'd be back.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): A while ago, the Pack Leader and Peter also disappeared with big bags.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Only the maid and I were at home. And I've never gone out with the maid.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And since their return, they've been taking me to the riverside park.
EXT. RIVERSIDE PARK - EVENING
Following the PACKLEADER and Peter on a path, Kaji looks preoccupied.
KAJI (V.O.): For a while now, we've been here every evening.
Kaji looks worried.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've the hunch that they'll go somewhere without me soon.
Seeing a few STRANGERS barking at each other, Kaji walks the other way.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I won't be bothered to get involved in the quarrels.
PACK LEADER: Strange...
PETER: Where has her busybody demeanor gone?
KAJI (V.O.): Couldn't they simply enjoy each other's companionship?
PACK LEADER: And she doesn't want to walk on the green grass...
KAJI (V.O.): All I can think about is where that missing Gang member could be, and when she'll come back home?
Kaji takes a look of the Pack Leader and Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I think about being home alone again, my heart sinks.
Pondering.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): They'll come back eventually. They've to.
Act 3
INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Kaji is resting by the side of the Pack Leader and Peter.
KAJI (V.O.): Despite uncertainties, I'm determined to keep watch and wait for their return.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Companionship is important to me and my loved ones.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): My untethered devotion to the Pack Leader and the Gang.
