Act 1
EXT. STREETS - DAY
KAJI, the PACK LEADER and PETER wait at a pedestrian crossing.
KAJI (V.O.): It's a surprise that we come out so early in the day.
Kaji takes a look of the PACK LEADER and Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But this isn't the direct route to the pet garden.
Hearing Peter saying "Go!", they cross with other PEDESTRIANS.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I know an indirect route - a pet-friendly restaurant is midway.
Led by Kaji, they soon arrive at a restaurant and see a short QUEUE.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Shall we walk on or wait here?
PETER: Wait.
Act 2
INT. RESTAURANT BE LEAF - LATER
The party is seated at a table just next to the sidewalk.
KAJI (V.O.): This is the second time we're here.
Having taken some photos of Kaji, the Pack Leader passes a treat to her.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): When I'm away from home, I don't eat. Here, I feel like home.
Kaji takes the treat.
PETER: What a surprise!
Kaji sees food and drinks put on the table.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): My belly begins to rule my mind.
Peter passes some pizza bits to Kaji.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Food from Peter can't be bad to me.
Sniffing a little, Kaji takes it.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Wow, it tastes better than our breakfast!
Peter passes more to Kaji.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): To eat intelligently is an art.
Then, the Pack Leader passes Kaji some too.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is that right?
FLASHBACK
INT. PET SALON - YESTERDAY
KAJI, the Pack Leader and Peter arrive at entry steps.
PETER: Up!
KAJI (V.O.): I follow Peter's command.
Kaji and the Pack Leader are entering.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh no! Here's a salon. I don't like its grooming services.
Quickly, the Pack Leader stops Kaji from escaping between her legs.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, the pack leader behaves like a security guard.
While refusing to cooperate, Kaji sees Peter shooting her with his smart phone.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Peter is an accomplice!
Being grabbed by the Pack Leader, Kaji is then passed to a uniformed STAFF.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): She's one of those guards who bathe me, brush my teeth, clean my ears, cut my hair and trim my nails.
Kaji shivers a little.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): While what do aren't life threatening, it's a mental torture and degrading treatment to me.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And after my ordeal, I'd still be detained until the Pack Leader and Peter come to bail me out.
END FLASHBACK
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Now they're repenting and offering me something good in return!
Kaji turns her attention to the PASSERS-BY.
Act 3
INT. STREETS - LATER
Kaji, the Pack Leader and Peter are walking back towards an estate.
KAJI (V.O.): I'm tired, having been to pet garden and walking here and there.
Pausing.
JKAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The best memories are made around the restaurant table.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): In the restaurant, we've good food, good times.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I like eating out. It's a good lifestyle.
FADE OUT
