EXT. STREET - DAY
PETER is driving. Sitting on the lap of the PACK LEADER, KAJI watches the moving scenes.
PACK LEADER: We can park in the vicinity.
PETER: There's space on our right.
Parking the car, they see two WOMEN using the sidewalk railings to stretch their legs.
KAJI (V.O.): I do full-body stretches, including stretching my chest to the ground.
As the Pack Leader alights, Kaji joins Peter and sits on his lap.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's my way to show affection.
Peter is holding Kaji tight.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's one of Peter's ways. I love it.
Act 2
EXT. STREET - CONTINUOUS
The two women finishes their exercises.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, they take notice of me.
As they get closer to observe her, Kaji reciprocates.
WOMAN#1: My goodness, look at this cutie!
WOMAN#2: A Shiba Inu.
WOMAN#1 (to Peter): Is it a boy or a girl?
PETER: A woman - seven years old now.
WOMAN#2: It's equivalent to human's 49 years of age.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What? I don't get it.
WOMAN#1: Is it costly to keep it?
PETER: Quite.
WOMAN#2: She's beautiful. Look at her eyes.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Yes, I'm.
PETER: Thank you. Her Mom was a beauty queen!
The women have more eye contacts with Peter.
WOMAN#1: Isn't she lucky?
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): She wishes she had someone who would take care of her like what Peter does to me.
WOMAN#2: We've to work all day...
We see a hairdresser shop in the background.
WOMAN#1: I bet she gets spoiled all the time.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Envy unleashed in their eyes.
As a CUSTOMER approaching, the women return to their workplace.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I doubt if they understand my role as the family pet.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've the unwavering commitment to support the family through thick and thin.
Later, woman#1 reappears, biding them farewell.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, she's closing in to touch me...
Kaji stays put.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): She's eager to experience what's like to be Peter's chosen one.
Kaji isn't irresponsive.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't like to get connected with any green-eyed beings.
As woman#1 parts them, Kaji looks relaxed.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Just me and Peter again!
Soon, the Pack Leader returns with bags of food.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): She doesn't know what we've encountered just then.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Where there's no comparison, there's no envy.
Act 3
EXT. STREET - CONTINUOUS
As Peter is about to drive, Kaji returns to the arms of the Pack Leader.
KAJI (V.O.): Our relationship is built on care, dedication and love.
Kaji takes a look of Peter.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): They’ve a deep commitment to my wellbeing and happiness.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The companionship, joy and love that are in our bond is a two-way street, requiring mutual respect and care.
