Act 1
INT. HOME#1 - DAY
KAJI sees the PACK LEADER and PETER leaving home.
KAJI (V.O.): Leaving me home with the maid again.
PETER (to Pack Leader): Why don't we take Kaji with us?
The Pack Leader hesitates.
PETER (Cont'd): We've never taken her to our home in NT...
PACK LEADER (to Maid): Get her harness.
Kaji sees the Pack Leader getting her stroller.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, I'm going to join them!
PACK LEADER (to Kaji): It takes us quite a while to get there. Be patient!
Act 2
EXT/INT. HOME#2 - LATER
Kaji is getting off from a car.
KAJI (V.O.): It was indeed a long ride.
Having opened a gate leading to the front yard of a house, Peter says to Kaji.
PETER: Get inside.
KAJI (V.O.): I've never been here before. I don't want to trespass other's home.
Opening the gate wider, Peter steps inside.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I follow you then.
Kaji enters the front yard, her paws pounding on the grass.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Much softer than those in parks.
Sniffing and dashing around, Kaji finds the best spot to pee.
Following Peter, Kaji goes to the car park and walks past two cars.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've never ridden on these cars before.
Kaji then heads towards the backyard.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Unfamiliar scents. It leads to nowhere.
Returning to the front yard, Kaji sees Peter opening the main door of the house.
PETER: Come on in.
As Peter and the Pack Leader enter, Kaji follows suit.
PETER (to Kaji): This is our home away from home. Check it out.
Sniffing around, Kaji explores the surroundings.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Just as messy.
Kaji wanders into the kitchen.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can smell no food.
Having prepared a bowl of water, the Pack Leader shows it to Kaji.
PACK LEADER: If you're thirsty, drink here.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's home-like.
Then, Kaji sees Peter's hand cues.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Walking up the staircases? Okay.
Carefully, Kaji climbs a flight and checks the rooms on 1/F.
Then, Kaji sees Peter's hand cues again.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Climbing up another flight?
Carefully, Kaji follows Peter and checks the penthouse and the verandah on 2/F.
KAJI (V.O.): Coming up is quite tiring.
Having rested on a sofa spot, Kaji makes her way down the staircases, her paws descending timidly each step to reach the G/F.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't like to have staircases at home.
Then, Kaji hears distant barking sounds and she looks around.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Why can't I see any friends or strangers around...
Act 3
INT. HOME#1 - NIGHT
Kaji rests in a massage chair.
KAJI (V.O.): I thought home should be spaces and surroundings familiar to me.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): In our home away from home, I've ventured into the unknown.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I anticipate that exploring home will become my alternative routine.
