Leading the PACK LEADER and PETER, Kaji arrives.
KAJI (V.O.): Here we're, the grassy outdoors!
Kaji checks some spots enthusiastically.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Although I'm a little fat, I still have boundless energy.
Sniffing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can smell that many of my friends were here.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me explore the surroundings further before deciding which is my favourite spot of the day.
Kaji continues to investigate with curiosity,
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. HOME - DAY (A WEEK AGO)
Kaji sees the Pack Leader packing something into a big brown bag and a small blue bag.
KAJI (V.O.): This is the first time I see her using them.
Sniffing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can smell leather.
Kaji observes PETER who is watching nearby.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): They look happy. What's up?
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But I don't see my collar and leash...
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Are they going out again without me?
PACK LEADER (to Kaji): Bye bye. We're going to Macau...
KAJI (V.O.): I understand "Bye bye", but what's "Macau"?
Puzzling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It sounds like "Don't bother".
Expressionless, Kaji sees the Pack Leader and Peter leaving home.
INT. HOME - YESTERDAY
Kaji has just had brunch with the Pack Leader and the GANG.
KAJI (V.O.): I anticipate that we may be going out today.
Looking out of the window, Kaji sees gloomy weather.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But we won't go out if it rains...
Kaji sees Peter talking to the Pack Leader.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Are they discussing whether we should go out?
PACK LEADER (to Kaji): Kai Kai!
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love the two little words.
EXT. PET GARDEN, SUNG WONG TOI - LATER
Having run to her favourite spot to get light, Kaji sits with the Pack Leader on a bench.
PACK LEADER: Why don't you play with your friends?
KAJI (V.O.): There's no grass here.
PACK LEADER: Then, let's rejoin Peter. He's waiting in the car outside.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd):Yes, I wonder why he wouldn't join us here. Has he had a bad day?
PACK LEADER: He doesn't want to get another booking ticket from the Police.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't get it.
The Pack Leader gestures to Kaji to leave.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'll follow you to support Peter.
RETURN TO PRESENT
Act 3
EXT. PROMENDADE - CONTINUOUS
Having got light, Kaji kicks the grass.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): There's no bad day when the Pack Leader and Peter go out with me.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Going out today is a bonus. It's much better than staying home with them. I believe going out benefits our body and soul.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Going out and its anticipation are simple pleasures that I cherish the most.
