Act 1
EXT. ROADS/CAR PARK - NIGHT
Sitting on the lap of the PACK LEADER of a moving car, KAJI sniffs the scent outside.
KAJI (V.O.): Where are we going?
Observing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The roads and the scent are new to me.
The car drives past a curvy road.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel insecure.
The car goes through a long tunnel.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It smells like farts.
The car arrives in a car park.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I was here before. Strange.
Act 2
EXT. PET GARDEN - LATER
Leading the Pack Leader & the GANG, Kaji arrives at the entrance.
KAJI (V.O.): Although I haven't come here for a while, I remember the scent.
A couple of STRANGERS and their MASTERS begin to engage Kaji.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Who are they? I need to protect myself.
Kaji stares down at them.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): If needed, I'd bare my teeth, make a warning growl and even bark.
One by one, Kaji has deterred their advances.
PACK LEADER: Why don't you go and poop?
FLASHBACK
EXT. PAVEMENT - THE NIGHT BEFORE
Leading the Pack Leader and Peter, Kaji crosses a junction and turns left.
PETER: She's still wanting to go to her lost paradise.
KAJI (V.O.): I've got Peter's cue.
Kaji stops abruptly.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Last time when I turned left, I couldn't find the entrance.
Kaji then turns right.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Going in this direction, I can go to the sea front.
Kaji begins to run.
EXT. PROMENADE - LATER
As the party arrive, we see PEOPLE here and there.
KAJI (V.O.): It's too noisy here, not my area of choice.
Kaji leads the Pack Leader to an area much farther away, leaving Peter far behind.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We haven't been out for quite a while. I've no inclination to hold in my business.
Kaji soon finds her area of choice to get light.
RETURN TO PRESENT
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here, the area is very different.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's very small and I'm very exposed.
INT/EXT. RESTAURANT - LATER
Resting in a chair, Kaji looks tired and unrelieved. Peter comes to capture a moment.
KAJI (V.O.): For two nights in a row, we've been out and I've run long distances.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Last night was superb, but not tonight.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I've to hold in my business, most reluctantly.
Act 3
IEXT. CARPARK/ROADS - LATER
Sitting on the lap of the Pack Leader of a moving car, Kaji sniffs the scent.
KAJI (V.O.): Just then, the Pack Leader has taken me to that pet garden again. But I still refuse to poop.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I know they must find it strange that I won't poop tonight.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I hold in my business not because I want to prolong time outdoors. I'm determined that I'd only poop in the promenade.
FADE OUT
