FADE IN.
Act 1
INT. HOME - MORNING
KAJI sees PETER leaving home.
KAJI (V.O.): He's getting breakfast for us.
Later, Kaji welcomes Peter back.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can smell bread.
Kaji herds Peter to the dining table before jumping up onto a chair.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Nothing is impossible.
They begin sharing the bread.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
EXT. ROADS - DAY (Yesterday)
In the passenger seat, Kaji sits on the lap of the PACK LEADER. Peter is driving.
KAJI (V.O.): It's so stuffy here.
Peter lowers the windows a little.
PETER: It's raining.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The little fresh air is better than none.
EXT. CAR PARK - LATER
Quiet. They get off and Kaji is put in her carrier cart.
KAJI (V.O.): Why don't you let me walk?
PETER: It's raining.
EXT. RESTAURANT - LATER
The Pack Leader and Peter are eating as Kaji is waiting in her carrier cart.
KAJI (V.O.): I feel bored.
We hear a barking sound.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Ah, I'm not alone.
Kaji then sees a few sparrows on the floor.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here's warm and dry...
Then, some sharp sounds have frightened the sparrows away. A MAN approaches.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): You're unkind.
MAN: We ensure the restaurant is hygienic.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I want to leave too.
Later, they leave.
PETER: The rain has just stopped.
INT. PROMENADE - LATER
The Pack Leader puts Kaji on the ground.
KAJI (V.O.): At last!
Without delay, Kaji leads the Pack Leader and Peter takes care of the carrier cart.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But everywhere is wet.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Okay, I accept any challenge that comes my way!
Kaji runs to her heart's content before it rains again.
RETURN TO PRESENT
Kaji looks out of the window.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's another gloomy day.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Probably, we won't go out today.
Act 3
INT. HOME - EVENING
Hiding under a dining chair, Kaji sees food in Peter's hand.
KAJI (V.O.): I haven't seen such an offer for months.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): Nothing is impossible if I make myself available.
Kaji enjoys the food.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): "Impossible" means "I'm possible", actually.
