Act 1
INT. DINING ROOM - 12:00
Food and drinks on the table. KAJI takes her seat.
KAJI (V.O.):It's my job to guard them.
As the PACK LEADER and PETER take their seats, Kaji is rewarded.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's my job to check if the food is good.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It's their job to check the drinks.
Later. No more food.
PACK LEADER: Finished.
KAJI (V.O.): One job is done.
Act 2
INT. SITTING ROOM - 13:00
Toy box. KAJI is choosing her toy of the day.
KAJI (V.O.): It's my job to play now.
Kaji makes her toys all over the place.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's my job too.
Passing a tennis ball to PETER to throw, Kaji jumps up to shoot it.
PETER: Well done!
KAJI (V.O.): I love Peter's praise for doing my job well.
Later, the pack leader puts a spinning disc on the floor.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's that?
Having inspected it, Kaji grabs the disc with both hands.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me see how I can play with it.
Kaji is having some problems.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me bite it and see if I can eat it.
PACK LEADER: Oh, I see an electric circuit inside.
Swiftly, the Pack Leader takes away Kaji's new toy.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): You don't have to do that. If I can't eat it, I won't pee on it.
Dissatisfied, Kaji walks away.
EXT. PET GARDEN - 15:30
Entering, Kaji sees a STRANGER.
KAJI (V.O.): Go away! It's my job to patrol my turf.
But the stranger continues to bother Kaji.
INT. PET STYLIST - 16:30.
STAFF#1 and #2 are washing and styling Kaji's fur.
KAJI (V.O.): It's my also job to let the staff practise their skills.
Later, Staff#1 puts on a necklace for Kaji.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Spare it! I don't like to wear anything.
INT. SITTING ROOM - 19:30
Kaji rests on her bedding.
KAJI (V.O.): I'm tired. I need time for myself.
Later, the Pack Leader carries Kaji to join a Gang gathering via a computer.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): This's my most tiring job.
Act 3
INT. DINING ROOM - 23:30
Kaji sees the Pack Leader and Peter at the table.
KAJI (V.O.): They haven't finished working on their dessert yet.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'll leave it to them and let them feel proud.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I enjoy doing my jobs. I don't feel like working.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): And I've the courage to become who I really am.
