Act 1
INT. RIVERSIDE PARK - DAY
Raining. Wearing an orange raincoat, KAJI leads the PACK LEADER and PETER.
KAJI (V.O.): I don't like wearing the raincoat.
Running.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But it's better than not going out at all.
Finding her favourite spot, Kaji can't wait to do her business.
PACK LEADER: Good.
Having taken good care of the mess, the Pack Leader leads Kaji.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): No, I don't want to return home yet.
As Kaji refuses to move, Peter waves at her.
PETER: We're going to a party!
Act 2
INT. PARTY VENUE - LATER
PEOPLE mingling. Following the Pack Leader and Peter, Kaji appears.
PACK LEADER: It's party time!
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): She always knows how to have fun...
Kaji observes the space.
KAJI (V.O.): What's that bench-like thing?
Smiling, the Pack Leader kneels down to pick up Kaji and puts her on the seat.
PACK LEADER: See if you can maintain balance on a swing.
Kaji sits stiffly, looking around, unsure.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel the surface beneath me give way slightly.
Kaji grips the edge with her paws.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Am I floating?
The swing swings a little.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's not my idea of fun.
Kaji looks unsettling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've the urge to leap off.
Kaji jumps off the swing.
PACK LEADER: Fair enough. Let's try the ball pit.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's that?
Grabbing her again, the Pack Leader puts Kaji inside a colourful ball pit.
Half-submerged in the balls, Kaji attempts to move.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): OMG, I've lost my footing.
Having tried to hop off without success, Kaji gives up.
PACK LEADER: Poor thing.
The Pack Leader then pulls Kaji out from the pit. Having shaked her fur, Kaji sees GUEST#1's Shiba Inu approaching enthusiastically.
PACK LEADER (Cont'd): Befriend with him.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Back off, young boy!
As the Shiba Inu doesn't seem to get her message, Kaji growls lightly.
PACK LEADER (Cont'd): Oh no...
When both the Pack Leader and Guest#1 try to calm the situation, the Shiba Inu and Kaji bark at each other unreservedly.
GUEST#1: Let's all relax.
Separated from the Shiba Inu, Kaji goes to sit on the lap of GUEST#2 who is singing Karaoke on a sofa.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I'd rather hang out with human strangers.
PETER: She believes all humans would spoil her like us.
Initially taken by surprise, Guest#2 begins to scratch Kaji behind her ears.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've never come across any humans who doesn't love me.
Act 3
EXT. RIVERSIDE PARK - NIGHT
Pleasant weather. Kaji runs towards it, being followed by the Pack Leader and Peter.
KAJI (V.O.): My party dilemma is that I feel out of place.
Having sniffed the green grass, Kaji leaves her mark.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Everyone has unique likes and dislikes. I prefer my spots here.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I find joy in human companionship. Meaningful connections matter more than having many "friends".
