Act 1
INT. PET GARDEN - DAY
Entrance. KAJI leads the PACK LEADER and PETER.
KAJI (V.O.): It's good to be back after a lapse of many days.
Running past the centre of the garden, Kaji rushes to a bush corner.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here's my territory.
STRANGER#1 approaches innocently and then leaves.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He respects my sphere of influence and won't interfere.
Kaji continues to inspect her territory. A pigeon flies away.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here, I've supreme power and can do whatever I like.
After getting light on one spot, Kaji repeats the same on another.
Act 2
EXT. PET GARDEN - CONTINUOUS
Leaving the bush corner, Kaji returns to the centre again.
KAJI (V.O.): Here's the common province of all pets.
Kaji then notices something moving slowly not far away from her.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What's that?
Kaji focuses her attention.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is it a big brown bird? Will it fly away?
The brown object keeps on moving slowly away from her.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is it someone's toy? Can I chew on it?
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): But it isn't mine.
Kaji gets closer to the brown object.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): At home, Peter likes playing with the two turtles inside the bathroom.
Observing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Turtles have thinner shells. They swim well in the bath tub. They can't fly.
Observing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): This one before me has a more rounded and domed shell. Is it what they call a tortoise?
Kaji watches the tortoise biting some grass.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I neither eat nor bite grass.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Anyhow, it's a living being like me.
Kaji then hears STRANGER#2 barking in a distance.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): What is he barking at?
Focusing again, Kaji sees an energetic and fast-moving stranger#2 targeting at another tortoise.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): It seems that he's preparing to charge.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, it must be very scary and stressful to the quiet shelled being!
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Why has he to do that? His survival instinct? But he's already big and strong.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Can they survive on each other's bites?
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Is the one near me rushing there to help?
As stranger#2 barks again, his MASTER appears.
MASTER (to stranger#2): Behave yourself!
Act 3
EXT. PET GARDEN - CONTINUOUS
Kaji then sees Stranger#2 retreating from his charging position.
KAJI (V.O.): Peace is a fundamental value.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We should have mutual respect of our territories. We shouldn't interfere with or act aggressively towards each other.
Leaving.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's how we can have peaceful co-existence.
Walking towards the exit.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Bye for now. I'll see you two again before long.
