EXT. ROADS/PET GARDEN - DAY
Inside a car, KAJI sits on PACK LEADER's lap. PETER is driving.
KAJI (V.O.): We're going to the pet garden.
Kaji whines.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I can't wait.
Soon, they enter the pet garden. Kaji runs to her favourite spots.
KAJI (V.O.): I love to get light in a soothing environment.
Soon, they return to the car.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I've no idea where are we going now.
Thinking.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We usually walk home.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
INT. DINING ROOM - DAY (DAYS AGO)
Kaji is being crowned with a "Happy Birthday" plastic laurel.
KAJI (V.O.): This is the 6th time they put this constraint on my head.
The Pack Leader lights up a candle of a "Happy Birthday" cake.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I won't be frightened by the candle light either.
Kaji stares at the cake, as Peter and a Gang MEMBER are taking photos.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): I just hope that they'd let me taste the cake.
Then the Gang Member joins Kaji in a joint photo session.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The occasion is meant for both of us.
After the photo sessions, Kaji is served with a meal.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): That's my special and delicious reward!
SEQUENCE OF KAJI'S OTHER ENGAGEMENTS
A. Pet garden. Having got light, the Pack Leader takes care of the mess.
B. Car. Peter drives Kaji, the Pack Leader and a Gang Member to somewhere.
C. Studio. A PHOTOGRAPHER takes lots of photos of Kaji, the Pack Leader and the Gang Member.
D Street. Before they get on board the car, Peter takes a few photos of Kaji.
E. Car. As Peter shows an image to the Pack Leader and the Gang Member to see, we hear: It looks like the image is taken in the studio.
END FLASHBACK
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): For the past two days, we haven't come out.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The weather wasn't fine. Today is better.
Then, Peter parks the car near a village mall.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, no! There're torture chambers here.
Holding Kaji tight in her arms, the Pack Leader walks towards a pet salon.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Let me down!
INT. PET SALON - CONTINUOUS
Turing her back against the pet salon, Kaji sees Peter watching outside.
KAJI (V.O.): Save me, Peter!
Peter just watches her being carried away by a uniformed GROOMER.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Oh, dear!
Kaji looks very nervous.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't like to be bathed! I don't like the shampoo smell.
Struggling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't like my fur to be trimmed! I don't like my teeth to be brushed!
Struggling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): The noise coming from the dryer is particularly upsetting!
Act 3
EXT. ROADS - NIGHT
Peter is driving the exhausted Kaji and a smiling Pack Leader.
KAJI (V.O.): Having gone to the torture chambers, going anywhere is better.
Sitting on the Pack Leader's lap, Kaji smiles a little.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I'm relaxed and happy, I smile.
Seeing the returning smiles of the Pack Leader and Peter, Kaji smiles again.
KAJI (V.O.): Smile is contagious. Let's be carriers.
An estate is in sight.
