Act 1
INT. BEDROOM - DAY
Rolling over In bed, KAJI goes to a spot next to PETER.
KAJI (V.O.): The air conditioning is cool.
Kaji lies down with her body touching Peter's left foot.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I feel warm and safe.
Peter reacts with his right foot touching Kaji's body.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I choose my company smartly.
Kaji doesn't move.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): If Peter gets out of bed for breakfast, I'd follow without delay.
Later, when Kaji opens her eyes, she sees Peter is cuddling up with her.
Act 2
FLASHBACK
EXT. RESTAURANT - NIGHT (YESTERDAY)
Roadside stable. Kaji sits between PACK LEADER and Peter.
KAJI (V.O.): I'd guard their food and drinks.
Food and drinks are put on the table.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): More importantly, I'll keep them company.
Later, STAFF#1 & #2 appear with treats in hand.
STAFF#1 & #2 (to Pack Leader): Does your pet take treats?
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't eat outside home. But we come here so often that it's like home.
As the Pack Leader nods, Kaji stands up from her seat to reach out the treats.
KAJI (V.O.)(Cont'd): How nice! Let me check the flavour.
Sniffing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I haven't had that before.
Grabbing treats from STAFF#1 & #2, Kaji eats them.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I love their friendly endearing body languages.
Eating.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Friends come in all forms, shapes and sizes.
Kaji is getting another treat.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Friendship isn't about who you've known the longest.
The Pack Leader cuts her treats into little pieces.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Friendship isn't a big thing; it's a lot of little things.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): A best friend is someone who loves you when you forget to love yourself.
Recalling.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Here's better than the pet garden.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): We're there a moment ago but none of my friends were there.
END FLASHBACK
EXT. PET GARDEN - 19:00
Arriving with the Pack Leader and Peter, Kaji is greeted briefly by STRANGER#1.
KAJI (V.O.): I don't know him.
The stranger then jumps onto the Pack Leader.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): His real interest isn't me.
After getting light, STRANGER#2 mingles with Kaji.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): He has got an ulterior motive.
Kaji walks towards the exit.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Better be alone than in bad company.
Act 3
INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT
Rolling over in bed, Kaji gets up to use her front leg to scratch her neck.
KAJI (V.O.): It's a bit itchy.
Peter sees that and scratch Kaji's neck with his hand.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Anything is possible when I've the right company.
Kaji then hides her head under Peter's feet.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't want to expose my eyes to the lights.
Pausing.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Life is as good as the company one keeps.
