Act 1
EXT. PET GARDEN - YESTERDAY
Going to her favourite spots, KAJI is getting very light.
KAJI (V.O.): It seems there's nothing left in my guts. Good!
Kaji kicks the grass a few times, as the PACK LEADER and PETER watch happily.
PACK LEADER: Do you want some water?
As Kaji is being served, Kaji avoids the water dispenser. Her FRIEND#1 comes along to drink it.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): A thirsty dog isn't loyal. It will drink with anyone who has water, revealing his true character.
Kaji walks towards the exit.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Away from home, I'd explore rather than to eat and drink.
Following Kaji to the exit, the Pack Leader and Peter leave.
Act 2
INT. HOME - NIGHT (YESTERDAY)
Kaji is resting on her floor quilt as the Pack Leader and the GANG are having dinner.
KAJI (V.O.): I'm not joining them.
The Pack Leader and the Gang are staring at Kaji.
PETER: OMG: She's not joining us for dinner.
PACK LEADER: She's just very tired.
GANG: How long was the walk?
PACK LEADER: Less than an hour. And the surroundings were familiar.
PETER: Do we have to worry about our Darling?
GANG: She eats anything. She drinks dog beer too.
PACK LEADER: But she hasn't eaten or drunken anything outside.
PETER: True. What causes her losing appetite all of a sudden?
KAJI (V.O.): I've the compulsion to stay put and remain silent.
Leaving her seat, the Pack Leader goes to the window to check.
PACK LEADER: Oh, it's raining!
PETER: There aren't thunderstorms. But she may be more sensitive than us.
KAJI (V.O.): I only feel comfortable lying here.
PACK LEADER: Well, I'll prepare a full dinner that she can't resist.
Finishing their dinner, the Pack Leader sets up a laptop and other Gang MEMBERS appear on screen.
PACK LEADER: Our Darling must join us!
The Pack Leader grabs Kaji to appear before the laptop screen.
KAJI (V.O.): Could you please leave me alone? I'm not feeling well.
The Pack Leader and the Gang take no notice of Kaji's frustration.
Later, Peter passes a treat to Kaji.
KAJI (V.O.): Even Peter gives me his heart, I can't give him mine.
PETER: Oh, she's not eating!
PACK LEADER & GANG: it's totally out of character.
KAJI (V.O.): I really don't have any appetite.
Putting Kaji back to her floor quilt, the Pack Leader kneels down to hear Kaji's stomach.
PACK LEADER: I can hear rumbling sounds.
KAJI (V.O.): Have I got a serious disease?
Later, when a full dinner is served in her meal bowl, Kaji doesn't bother at all.
PACK LEADER & GANG: Oh Dear!
Kaji continues to rest listlessly.
PETER: I prefer seeing her in character all the time.
KAJI (V.O.): I'm not sure about my true character now.
Act 3
EXT. PET GARDEN - TONIGHT
Leading the Pack Leader and Peter, Kaji runs towards the pet garden.
KAJI (V.O.): I'm neither hungry nor thirsty.
Running.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): When I woke up this morning, I felt hungry and finished my uneaten dinner.
Running.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): Then I had breakfast with Peter, my day meal and breakfast again with the Pack Leader and the Gang.
Seeing her FRIENDS#2-5 welcoming her, Kaji passes the entry gate first.
KAJI (V.O.) (Cont'd): I don't care what's my true character. Now's the time to be happy.
